First time coming here, was a bit hesitant because there was absolutley no one in the restaurant. But glad we decided to stay! Hubby ordered 4 street tacos, 2 steak, 1 pork, 1 chicken and he loved it! I had red sauce enchiladas, Mexican rice, and beans. It was also delicious! Coming from La I know my Mexican food. The rice is authentic Mexican red rice just like my grandma's! Had to bring my fiancé here and my co workers because it was so good. Every time I miss Mexican food I come here and it hits the spot. I usually get the street tacos carne asada and side of rice and it is a perfect combination. Great place! Real Spanish food! not white washed like killer tacos. The staff is extremely nice and  hospitable. They played genuine Mexican music and this is the closest thing as home-cooked Mexican food as you will get in EWA.

After running errands and the west side, my husband and I decided to grab a late lunch here at Fiesta's.We got seated right away and were immediately served some complimentary chips and salsa as we put in our order for beverages. They had the typical selection of Mexican beers as well as Jarritos. My husband ordered their El California burrito and I ordered the vegetarian burrito. He loved his. Mine was a little underwhelming. The veggie burrito lacked flavor, which I attempted to remediate with their salsa. Unfortunately I am weaksauce when it comes to spice and it was just too hot for me. My husband used it on his. I gave this place four stars because I have a feeling their meat entrees and dishes are probably more outstanding than their veggie ones. This place has had its ups n downs over the last few years. From amazing when the cute old couple ran it, to overly salty and undercooked food when new management stepped in, to back to being pretty darn good Mexican food. My friend and I went here for dinner. Good location with ample parking at Ewa Pointe shopping center. It was a little busy when we walk-in but staff was very friendly. They gave us a warm greeting and said we will be seated in a few minutes after they clear the table. As soon as we sat down, we were given warm tortilla chips and homemade salsa. It was hard to decide on what to get, so many choices. I got the soft tacos (your choose of meat) which comes in 3 served with rice and beans. I chose the carnitas (pork) with was flavorful and tender. My friend got the Fiesta Trio that had an enchilada, a tamale and a chile relleno. My food was delicious. Always loved their food. Ordered the Pozole, Tamale plate, & Taco salad. Pozole was delicious, I'm glad they added the spicy sauce on the side so you could adjust the spice level yourself. Tamales were okay, kinda dry. But most tamales are usually somewhat dry anyway, but flavor was still good. Taco salad is definitely my favorite! I ordered it with ground beef and potato since it was a first time, and it was really delicious. The salsa mixture they add to the side is very spicy though so if you're like me and don't like too much spice add and taste as you go or add your own salad dressing, which I'll do next time. DELICIOUS!! I rarely put in reviews, but I was incredibly impressed! The Carne Asada tastes like what I used to get in California, the rice and beans are delicious and taste like home (not the canned mush you get most places). My kids are obsessed with the Horchata. OMG. Starting off with their SALSA and chips. Salsa was on POINT!  then came the margarita...on POINT again!! I had the street tacos (carne and carnitas) and think I saw heaven for a bit. ...AAAAND their hot sauce. Soooooo good. We knew the original owners of Fiesta's. They were a Mexican family who started the place and made exactly what you expected for Mexican food. The former owner's parents did the cooking and it was delicious. The rice and beans were the best of all the dishes. I usually got the Green Enchiladas with rice and beans. I left Hawaii for a few years and when I returned it was to find the family had sold the restaurant to some locals and moved back to Mexico. The food is now more of a mixed local style with Mexican dishes in as well. Nothing wrong with that, every place here has what seems to be known as Hawaiian Fusion. But when you want true Mexican, it's becoming incredibly difficult to find it. The new place is good, but not enough classic Mexican for me. More...

I love this place, and have been coming here for a couple years now. I've tried practically everything on the menu and it has yet to disappoint in both taste and quantity. Tonight I ordered the Taco Salad, and it was perfect. Portion was perfect for sharing, as we also go the Kitchen Sink burrito.
