I knew Pete and Donna Hartmann before our family grew by four paws with Chance, our five month old rescue. Not knowing where he came from, my dog’s previous living condition, we soon realized he had major abandonment and separation anxiety issues. Pete helped us so much by giving us the proper training tools on not only handling basic obedience but also by handling real life situations. Fido Fidelis Dog Training gave me the tools i needed to take my dog Chance from good dog to great dog. With stereotypes on the breed dog i own, i wanted Chance to have his obedience down pat to prove to others that it is not the breed but the owners. Not only did they help with his obedience they also got him to stop jumping at cars while walking on a busy street. Then after that, we were able to get him to do recall. Once we learned proper recall, Chance was able to progress to off-leash training. Our trainer was 100% sure Chance would do good. I was nervous that he would run away. After the leash was unclipped, the dog listened perfectly to all the commands. The trainers at Fido Fidelis both cared about Chance’s progression. What inspired you to start your own business?
Our own German Shepherd. We got him from Craig's list. At 10 months old we were his third owner, due to his fear based aggression. If it moved had a pulse or not he wanted to destroy it. We called every trainer in our area. They all told me he was beyond help. We weren't going to give up on him, so I studied to become a trainer for him. With that we started our Dog Training Business, where we help owners with "Challenging Dogs!" No dog is beyond help and my German Shepherd who lived to be 11 was a wonderful addition to our growing family! We can help you achieve that same results!
