About

As a therapist , my approach is centered on non-judgmental conversations and therapeutic practices that invite collaboration. I work with clients to help map out their problems and tap into their unique personal values and strengths. My intention is to always create a space where individuals, couples and families feel more agency when it comes to their lives and especially their mental health.

Q&As

I love collaborating with my clients on new paths forward. Be it stress, mental health issues or relationship obstacles, I am in the business of creating possibility with my clients which never ceases to amaze me.

I have Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles and have worked in different capacities with a diverse range of populations throughout my professional life. Some of the issues I have experience with include: advocacy for foster care youth, LGBTQIA+ rights, HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, first-generation acculturation, and anti-racism movements.

Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as a creative professional in the advertising and entertainment industries. This experience familiarized me with the specific stressors these professions can bring to our mental health. From creative/writer’s block to feeling undervalued by an employer, I understand how complicated these paths can be and how easily one can internalize those obstacles.

Regardless of the issue, I strongly believe that therapy shouldn’t feel like a one-size-fits-all situation. Each session should be tailored to the needs of my clients at their pace and with their goals. I am interested in inviting the power of connection, community, and therapeutic storytelling into our conversations. Most importantly, I like to work collaboratively. I aim to go beyond the traditional “self-help” culture that might leave some behind, and find opportunities to help my clients have more agency in their own story.

At this time I am currently only offering virtual/tele-health sessions.

I also offer a free, no obligation, 15 minute phone or video chat consultation where we can talk about what you want to accomplish and how we can work together to get you there.
