The Faust Hotel and Brewpub is a historic landmark located in the heart of downtown New Braunfels. The Faust first opened its doors October 12, 1929 and has been in operation ever since. We dined at The Faust tonight for the first time since moving to New Braunfels. Maddie was our waitress and she was so wonderful. She was so sweet to our little girl and made sure we always had everything we needed. The food was delicious and so was my beer. We will definitely be back. During the Covid-19 epidemic, the pub wasn't open. We spent a night in the hotel. If you're into being waited on and except modern. up-to-date things in a hotel, then this place is not for you. Faust Hotel is for people you cherish antiquities, structural of the building. etc. We enjoyed everything about the hotel. It was like stepping back in time. Because of the Corona problem, we were unable to go our traditional Easter. My daughter ordered several family meals for Easter and gifted them to the family. I have to honestly say the ham and all the food is great, your portions are very generous and your prices incredible. We chose the Faust Hotel to host our rehearsal dinner and working with Brandi and her team was an absolute dream. We had an unconventional wedding plan in which we completed our vows and ring ceremony during the rehearsal dinner at the Faust, and then had our big reception the next night. Brandi was so accommodating and flexible and worked hard to ensure that they created a perfect night in line with our vision. The setting was PERFECT. It was so romantic, the food was amazing, and the bartenders and servers were so kind and professional. The night totally exceeded our expectations! We also blocked rooms for our out of town guests at the Faust, and our guests raved about the gorgeous, charming rooms and excellent customer service. We also completed our first look and some preliminary wedding photographs in the Faust’s gorgeous lobby, and they all turned out so gorgeous. They accepted a reservation for 25 people and then canceled at the last minute. Left us in a horrible position for my rehearsal dinner. Long time fan of the Faust, and regular guest. I hate to say that I will never go back after leaving us in this position. Refused to even call me to talk to me about it. Sent me an email, then never returned calls or responded to my request to speak with someone. It made me really sad. I really loved this place. Awful experience.
