Beautiful program which supports black women in business. It is a shame that very talented college graduates from NEW ORLEANS have to go to other cities in other states to find jobs that pay sometimes two and three times more in salaries. The work of the Good Work Network is so very important to the long term economic health of the New Orleans and Louisiana community. The entrepreneurs and business owners with whom the Network works create the vast majority of the new job and wealth generating opportunities in our City and State. The commitment of the Network's staff to assisting our citizens in investing ad realizing their dreams is very worthy and appreciated.

I am pleased to have served on the Network's Board of Directors for a few years, and most recently as its Chairman. I have talked to many of our newest small and emerging business owners who have benefitted from the work of the Good Work Network. I have spoken at the Entrepreneurial Training class graduation ceremonies, and I have met with and visited the offices of these businesses. What is most impressive is the appreciation that the business owners have for the work of the Good Work Network.
