We recently had Farm To Fender as a food truck caterer for our wedding. Their performance was absolutely exceptional and I cannot say enough positive things about what they put out on the day of and the food/service they provided. The portions were huge and definitely justified having the food truck as our wedding dinner over a traditional sit down meal. We received amazing feed back on them from our guests. They also provided cocktail hour appetizers that were well received. We were a little apprehensive about having a food truck for so many people and worried there might be a wait time for dinner but they were on top of it! In the interest of being transparent, we did have some issues in the planning process with communication. Farm To Fender was going through some staff changes and that caused a lot of frustration for us (we heard this was happening to a few other couples as well from our planner) as we would go weeks without getting a response to our calls/emails, etc. and had little communication throughout the majority of our planning - they did rectify things at the end and we were so pleased with how things turned out. The shrimp and grits were absolutely wonderful. Boyfriend had the build your own burger with house made chips. The chips were the best house made chips I have ever had. Great food and service!! They catered our wedding several weeks ago. Everyone commented on how good the food was. The sausage ball and slider appetizers were particularly popular. The reception dinner was delicious too, and they were able to make the entrees and sides dairy-free and gluten-free to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. We're actually hiring Farm to Fender Food Truck as our wedding vendor for next year and came by their cafe while we were in town visiting to try some of the menu we were planning on having for our wedding. We had the Flying Goat BLT w/ non-GMO potato chips and the Black Bean Burger w/ fried green tomatoes. Everything was DELISH! What made it even more satisfying is that it may as well been guilt free! Love this place! The food is fantastic. Fresh, local ingredients. Simple but delicious. Love the butternut squash soup. I could just eat that and be happy. They also have a beautiful little porch with a huge umbrella for the summer. Our server, Melissa, was fantastic. The best place to eat for your dollar. By far my favorite restaurant and for good reason. Menu flexes with the seasons and what's fresh in the garden, and it's always fresh & delicious! They always treat me like the loyal customer I am, the chef greets me personally and tells me of anything new he's trying out for his menu and asks my opinion.
