Absolutely could not recommend anyone more than Fama Creations! Not only is Joe like the nicest guy ever but he just "gets it. " It is so hard to find true quality craftsmanship these days. I spent months looking for someone to build me 3 vanities from solid oak in a very specific style I wanted and Joe did it without question. Him and his team are so personable and friendly and helpful. They creatively worked with me for hours and we had many meet ups both at my house and his workshop till everything was perfect. It’s hard to communicate how high of a level of craftsmanship is in Joe’s work. The fit and finish expectations that I had were blown away. In fact, I have a new benchmark for quality and detail after receiving my functional art from Joe. Everything else is going to be incomparable now. Am I laying it on thick? Yes. Can I help it? NO! Seriously folks, the stuff that comes out of Joe’s shop jumps past top shelf straight to the stratosphere. So, I am disabled and I was really tired of having to be pushed underneath the table to eat and read. Not all the way underneath, but at least up to the table. I found Joe online and looked at his work. Instantly I could tell that this was a craftsman that could make anything and not your typical wood butcher that just cuts, glues, sands, and delivers. The furniture looks like it has a soul. I made an appointment with Joe and he came up with a design that blew my mind. A beautiful table made of reclaimed wood that had a small leaf controlled by an actuator that I could operate on my on. When it was completed and delivered it worked PERFECTLY and was GORGEOUS. Not to mention it provided a level of independence that I did not believe I would ever regain. I can only imagine how many wonderful times my family and I are going to have at our new table. In the end I have to say that the work is flawless, Joe and Jess and everybody at the shop are absolutely fabulous human beings and the price is right. I just received delivery of the most incredibly beautiful dining room table! I have been searching for well over 10 years for a table to match my Harden solid cherry china cabinet but could not find the right size with the right base with the right finish. Joe advised and guided me on the size (9' X 4'), found the perfect solid cherry trestle base and then perfectly matched the finish to the drawers from my cabinet! I love it so much! I searched every furniture store for an authentic farmhouse type table but could never find what I wanted. I worked with Fama on multiple projects for our business. They created a custom reception desk of reclaimed wood with metal and acrylic finishes and accent lighting, complete with interior shelving; a custom 20ft conference table, walnut, with metal legs; and a large of amount of wood paneled walls, benches and waterfall bars in a market that is opening soon. The staff is running behind schedule right now which was the hardest thing for us because we were so excited to have our barn wood wall completed. Boy, was it worth the wait! Our Fama Creations custom 9' Farmhouse table was delivered the other day. Outstanding craftsmanship is displayed in the fabrication of the table. Reclaimed Walnut and Oak were used to make a 2" tabletop that displayed the original character of the rough sawn boards reclaimed from a 150 year old Virginia barn. We were very impressed with the way Joe wanted to speak with us at length to get a good feel for exactly the size, shape, color, texture and finish we were imagining in our heads. Jessica and Joe are not only incredibly talented but were wonderful to work with. My husband and I found out about Fama Creations while trying to learn how to make our own table (thankfully we found them)! ! We met with them and loved their work so much we ordered a 6 foot dinning room table and bench from them. We were looking for the "Clint from Fixer Upper" of Orlando. So we searched the internet and found Joe and Jess. From the very first email and in person consultation we knew they were perfect. Joe created a reclaimed wood wall in our dining room to start. After a few weeks we decided we needed the perfect table to match. So after a few emails back and forth we decided on a 72in round Poplar Wood Chevron table with a grey wash. It was delivered weeks later and was exactly as described however even better in person. My boyfriend and I purchases an old fixer upper about 2 years ago. As we began the process of gutting the home and reworking the layout we found all this incredible old wood was used for the walls. As we removed it we set it aside. Jess and Joe happen to be two of my closest friends. I couldn't wait to ship them the wood so they could make us something incredible with it! Weeks after shipping we had the most beautiful dining room table and the best part was that it was made of repurposed wood from or own home. I am so so happy with Fama Creations. We began working with them when we moved to Orlando and realized we preferred to make a custom couch using twin mattresses instead of purchasing a regular sofa. I know nothing about carpentry, so I reached out to Fama to see what they could do. I did not think it would be as easy as it was considering most places do not make custom couch bases. However, I immediately received a response back. Fama was more than willing (and excited) to try a new kind of project, and they worked with me to design the perfect couch within my budget.
