Damon and his team really went above and beyond in designing our new dental office. They spent a lot of time getting know us. They sought to understand the way we work and our personality. They then designed the perfect space that was both functional and aesthetically outstanding. We get comments almost everyday from patients saying that this is the nicest dental office they have ever seen! His team is easy to work with and full of integrity. When mistakes or miscommunications happen they really take ownership of the situation and seek to find a win win solution. I would not hesitate to use Damon for any future building projects! My husband and I were very fortunate to use the services of Falconnier Design. We had been looking at house plans for two years and could not find a plan to fit our needs. We even tried another architect with less than stellar results. We immediately felt at ease with Damon. He listened to what we wanted and designed the house with our budget in mind. By using his design methods he saved us twice what it cost us to use him! Architects are not just for the wealthy or big projects. He works on multi-million dollar jobs and small homes. I have known Damon for over 10 years and when we needed plans to add a large screened porch, he was the first architect I thought of because I knew I could trust him. That's very important.Damon met with our entire family around our kitchen table one evening and asked my wife, two of our children ( a third is away at college) and me what we wanted in the design. He listened and asked questions to help us make initial design decisions. He took my wife and I to two finished projects so we could see various options. The project involved determining the best way to tie the replacement back porch in to the roof line and make it aesthetically pleasing. We got too options in our initial design that showed great thought on the options. Damon did a great job of explaining the options and the limitations of the different options.The initial deliverable was a complete set with four options since we couldn't make a firm decision. From these, he created a single conceptual drawing of our final decision. For the second step, we received six prints of the full stamped construction drawings and he recommended a qualified builder we are evaluating.Damon was always prompt for in person meetings and took my calls or worked with me promptly by text or e-mail which was much appreciated.Reviewer's note: I earlier rated Falconier '4' without any comments. After completing some requested changes to the construction drawings based on information we learned and not any failures by Falconier, I have to say Falconier is a '5' is my book. We are very happy with Falconnier Design Company and the painstaking attention to detail this group takes in designing their projects. Damon and his team have been very accessible and willing to answer any questions we've had concerning our project. They are willing to go the extra mile to ensure our needs are being met. They work long hours and are always just a phone call away to offer assurance and guidance during the process. This project, is the design build of Roaring Fork Baptist Church and Family Life Center in Gatlinburg Tn. which was lost in the wildfires in November 28, 2016. Damon is one of the most well-respected commercial and residential architects in and around Knoxville, but that did not stop him from helping us design our screen porch addition. Damon took the time to visit with us personally, carefully listened to our thoughts and gave us excellent suggestions to make our porch more attractive, functional and cost-effective. And we were very impressed that the turn-around time for plans was just a matter of days! After interviewing several architects for our home remodeling, we selected Falconnier Design Company, and it was a GREAT decision. Damon, Chris, and Rachel are a talented and highly responsive team. Damon has an eye for design, and he listens carefully to the client and is focused on the client's desires. His suggestions were useful, but not pushy, and he makes it easy to work with his team. We were pleased about how quickly they provided the schematic design. He also helped us to select the perfect builder, which is not easy in the rural area in which we live.
