This was my first visit to the truck an I was so glad I was able to get to a location they were at. I had the seasoned fries and the mobster falafel sandwich. And omg this was the best falafel sandwich I have ever had!! The customer service was awesome and the food made to order .. the kitchen was clean and presentable which is always a win!! Falafel Mafia is one of my personal favorites. Not only do they have an excellent food truck experience but also do a great job catering for events. We had them cater our wedding back in October and it was amazing. They offer way more diverse options compared to your traditional wedding food. Well thought out middle eastern appetizers, entrees and dessert. Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they ever had! They were very flexible on what we wanted for a menu and knowledgeable on their product concerning with allergens. During my family and I's annual trip to Ogunquit we always visit Kennebunkport. This year while there, we strolled through the Kennebunkbort craft festival looking for lunch. My Husband and I are no eating mostly plant based so we decided on Falafel Mafia, and WOW, the food is delicious! We had the falafel bowl (my stepdad had the gyro) and we licked out plate. I loved it so much that I made my own 'mock' bowl like Falafel Mafia's and eat it twice a week now. Excellent customer service, love the branding and the food was worth every penny. I like to consider myself a bit of a falafel connoisseur as I generally order it whenever I come across it on a menu.. Thats brought me to bad, good, and better falafel. But It wasn't until I had a "Godfather" pita pocket from the Falafel Mafia food truck, that I knew I had finally found the best! There's no substitute for fresh, homemade ingredients and these are stuffed with nothing but the finest! The love and effort that goes into their food is noticeable in every single bite. I've been back multiple times and it has consistently been fantastic. Friendly, fast costumer service and an spotlessly clean truck and prep area just make the overall experience even better. Legitimately the best falafel I've ever had, and I've had a whole lot. One of the few real voids in Portland food culture was the lack of a decent falafel spot, and Falafel Mafia has filled that void and then some. My Wife and I had the godfather, and the wiseguy today. No joke, hands down, the best two falafel of my life. Flavor balance, presentation, quality, all on point. The carrot-ginger puree and beets in the wiseguy is such a perfect combination, and it took on bold flavors without making a single one overwhelming. Clearly made by someone talented, and passionate.
