Great place! They were always patient and gentle with my neurotic dog and made sure I knew all the options without trying to sell me on expensive and unnecessary tests. I brought in two abandoned cats I found who were wild and near death. Despite how feral they were Dr. Tatro and his staff treated them. Both survived and are now very happy house-cats :) More...

I spent three years in Bloomington attending ISU, and I would only trust my pets to Fairway Knolls. Dr. Tatro and his staff are superb! My dog is my baby and she gets really anxious at the vet, especially if she needs a shot. The staff was always very gentle with her and they didn't try to sell me anything that wasn't necessary. Dr. Tatro is very down-to-earth and always let me know what my options were and which he recommended for the best outcome. I can't recommend Fairway Knolls enough! More...

Dr. Tatro and Dr. Anderson are the best vets in town. The staff is amazing as well! We have used them for years and never been disappointed. They advocate for the best interest of you fur baby every time. We lost 2 of our babies within a year of each other and they were so caring and compassionate. I have been going to Fairway Knolls (Dr. Tatro) Â for about 14-15 years. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for care they provide my dogs- and me! Dr. Tatro has treated the various conditions my dogs have come in with over the years with his experience, research, facts, specialist guidance, and most valuable of all- his personal assessment putting it all together for and with my dogs individual histories.He always has my dogs' best interest in his heart. Took my dog here today for a checkup after adopting him from the shelter yesterday. After calling around to half a dozen vet's offices, I chose Fairway Knolls because they had the cheapest office visit price- $40. 00.The vet was super attentive and knowledgeable. Even though I've previously owned a Cocker Spaniel, he gave me a lot of information about the breed. My dog, Buddy, required some medicine and I was $5 short of the full bill. The told me not to worry and that I could come back with the remaining $5.The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the vet asked that I step back into the waiting room while he asked his staff to vacuum the room. He was very honest and upfront about his need for the rooms to be cleaned prior to any client entering them. I appreciated his honesty and didn't mind waiting the extra minute while it was vacuumed.Definitely made a good choice in Buddy's vet. More...
