I've been taking the fur-kids to DGAC for the better part of 7 years now. The entire staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They make the animals feel as comfortable as possible before and during the exams and they also make me feel comfortable, which is a huge difference from the vet we used to go to. We highly recommend this practice and give thanks we found it so many years ago. All three of our pets have had great experiences, which makes it much easier on the owners! The staff is professional, empathetic, efficient and caring. The relief that comes from knowing you and your animal are in great hands is priceless. I cannot begin to say enough good things about these people. They were very helpful and sympathetic when my cat suddenly passed away last year. Fast forward to this year - we have been having issue after issue with our family dog. The staff at DGAC have been more than accommodating. They never make me feel like I call or email too much (because I know I do) and are always there to answer my questions. Unfortunately, my dog's prognosis doesn't look well, but they were so helpful when I was trying to make a decision. They don't sway you one way just so they can make money, because believe me, they could have. They are also extremely patient with my wild 3.5 year old when we go there, which has been pretty often lately. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. More...

Great Vet Clinic. They always make time for you if you have an urgent issue with your pet. Very caring staff. Dr. Gus always greets the pets as if they were his own. Even when I had my 'man-hating' dog Toby, Dr Gus got right down on the floor with him and made friends. He is exceptional in the handling of the dogs. My current dog doesn't particularly like going to see the doctor, like most dogs. But, as soon as she is done with her exam, she bolts right over to the magic drawer with all the treats in it, patiently waiting for her biscuit from the doc. More...

The staff at Downers Grove Animal Clinic are great! They have very reasonable hours so we never have to miss work to fit in an appointment. We have never waiting more than 10 minutes to see the vet. Dr. Gus is our favorite! He truly loves dogs and is always gentle and very thorough. Our 3 year old Wheaten Terrier was seriously ill with a horrible gastritis and Dr. Gus was a real lifesaver, getting us through a really bad time. The whole staff was wonderful when our last dog past away, always available and very caring. I highly recommend this office. Your pet will be in great hands!! More...

Dr. True is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He is so wonderful with my Dog. He gets down low on the floor with him, very gentle and always concerned. I was taking my cats and dog to see Dr True when he was at Animal Care Center Plainfield and HAD to follow him to this office. He and the staff truly love what they do and take excellent care of your pets. Bailey is currently undergoing laser treatments for arthritis and Austin begrudgingly (what cat likes going for a ride in the car?) made the trip today for a flare-up of his IBD. We drive a bit farther for care, but it is nice to have more personalized care in this smaller clinic. More...

We recently adopted a lab/pit mix. His name was Kent, we changed it to Ozzy, he is the most lovable fur-baby we could ask for. Love this place! Everyone here is very nice and welcoming when I come in with my dog. Cherie referred me here and I'm glad she did. Dr True is a really nice Doctor as well and is very Informative and thorough in his check ups with your fur baby. Also they have a great wellness plan I would recommend. I brought my puppy in to get spayed. The staff was very informative and took very good care of my Bella. . Dr True did a awesome job he let know after the surgery how things went.
