Outstanding experience. I only have positive things to say about Extreme Clean and the team.Long story short, my dog didn't feel well and defecated/vomited all over my carpeted apartment for hours. The smell was horrible and there were stains everywhere. I tried to treat them myself with baking soda and vinegar, but it was so bad that I needed a professional's help. Doug was super quick in responding to my inquiry, upfront in giving an estimate, and even went out of the way to address my issue (his business is located in Bloomington and I'm in Champaign). The team's polite, has a great sense of humor, and explained each step of the process as it's happening. Unlike the guys from some big companies, it didn't feel like anyone was intruding on my property at all and I feel valued. My apartment was stain-free within an hour and odor free, and the total was below the estimate.Very satisfied; they've won me over as a loyal customer and I'll be recommending their business to all my friends. After seeing the frightening reviews of the competition, I looked at Extreme Clean.  Doug responded in 20 minutes to my request here on Yelp, and we set up an appointment. Doug showed up, and was very knowledgeable and friendly.  He made the carpets in the house look like new, and they were not soaking wet like other services leave them.  He has really innovative technology, and does not drag hoses through your house!  I was afraid of that because they are working on the sidewalks and the exterior of the house is all muddy.  He did not bring in a grain of dirt!    Since I just painted, the interior of the house looks brand new now, I can't wait to move in the furniture!Doug is definitely the "Go to" guy for carpet cleaning!  If I could give him 6 stars, I would! We recently moved into a new home and the previous owners were dog owners who left it filthy. Doug immediately came to the rescue to clean the carpets. He was able to squeeze us in at short notice at the end of the day and worked hard to lift the hair, cleanse the dog smell, and leave the whole house smelling clean and fresh. He even brought his wife on her day off to help expedite the process. The two of them were completely professional, friendly, and funny. I reached out to Extreme Clean to help clean and restore my favorite area rug which had been in storage for 10 years. Doug took the time to understand my needs and was really considerate in taking special care of this rug for me. He drove over to Peoria from Bloomington, took the time to explain the entire process to me and gave me thorough next steps. He is kind, thoughtful and the rug looks as good as new. We'd never hired a carpet cleaner before. Now that we have, we'll likely do it again and when we do, we'll be sure to use these guys again. After ordering a couch for our basement (which is carpeted), we realized we had a week to clean the carpet without having to move a couch. Doug fit in an estimate and cleaning in that time, even though he was also out a day for dental work! The price was more than fair and he even gave us a discount for finding him on Yelp!If you have carpet and are considering renting a cleaner, don't. I read review on Yelp and thought to give them a try. I am happy to say they are WONDERFUL. Doug was very prompt in calling me & setting up an apt for an estimate. He texted me before to confirm the apt. Came on time and gave a very reasonable estimate. They did an excellent job cleaning our carpet and area rug. He even followed up afterwards. I've had Extreme Clean take care of my carpets multiple times. I've always been very satisfied with the quality of the work, and with the speed. The job was always fished quickly, and with Extreme I don't have to wait hours upon hours for my carpets to feel dry afterwards. It's way easier then renting one of those bulky disgusting red carpet shampooers from the grocery store, and after getting some estimates, it was the best price I found. More...
