I used the barker lounge for my ten yr old cockapoo and was thrilled with her treatment and haircut. I had tried some of the other well rated grooming places and had been disappointed and so was nervous dropping my pup off. Took our pups here for daycare until they caught kennel cough. One did not get over it so fast and we thought we were going to lose her. We had just bought a few blocks of time for future daycare visits. During the time our pup was sick which lasted almost 2 months no one called from barker lounge to inquire why we were not dropping our pups after just giving them hundreds of dollars. We debated whether to allow our pups to go back. Finally decide after 6 mos to try it again. Talked to Heidi, the owner, and she told us our blocks of time had expired and we would need to purchase more. We will never take our pets back to Barker Lounge...ever! More...

What a bunch of elitist! I filled out a form to have my mini goldendoodle use their daycare and I'm sure I'm on the waiting list. The problem is, I never got any updates of my application. I tried calling and either no one answers or the call drops. I'm sure they're getting a lot of business and could care less about customer service or potential new customers but arrogance will catch up with you. Besides my goldendodle is happy at Hounds Town, who were on top of keeping me up to date with application and allowing my dog to try out their daycare. My dog loves it! Bye Barker Lounge! A literal roach motel for dogs. Owner only cares about money and not the safety of the dogs at her facility. If you care about your pup, don’t bring them here. Puppy Training Program
You can productively channel your puppy's energy by enrolling them in a training plan and regularly implementing everything they have learned. Isn't that better than them destroying your home? The majority of dogs relish "performing" their newly learned skills. This is what we call structured playtime. We will come to you two times a week for three weeks. The first lesson always covers potty training, housebreaking, and crate training. Once we create a unique customized plan suited to your daily schedule, we can focus on laying a proper foundation for obedience training.
Custom Program
Our custom program is designed to cater to individuals with busy schedules or those looking for budget-friendly options. Within our customized program, we select and prioritize the essential commands required to address specific behavioral issues in your dog.
We offer flexibility in scheduling, giving you the choice between two sessions per week for a three-week duration or three sessions per week for two weeks, depending on your availability. We strongly recommend a minimum commitment of two weekly sessions to maintain consistency throughout the training process.
Between lessons, we encourage you to practice the techniques and commands covered in the previous session. This practice is not aimed at instructing your dog, but rather at equipping you, as the owner, with the skills to confidently handle your dog, issue commands effectively, and reinforce desired behaviors.
Daily Training Program
Five days a week, we come to you and do all of the training so you never miss a beat. Our training provides all of the benefits of a board and train while avoiding the need for your dog to spend the night away. All of our obedience training programs come with unlimited follow-up lessons upon completion.
Our daily training program focuses on establishing a strong foundation for advanced training. We cover both on-leash and off-leash obedience, as well as the resolution of specific behavioral issues. One notable advantage of our program is our in-home training approach. By working with your dog in its familiar environment, we can address real-time issues without the need to simulate problems as often required in a board and train facility. This personalized approach ensures that the training we provide becomes a lasting part of your dog's behavior, as it's established right in your own home.
