Great place to ring in Christmas. Followed the server's recommendation for an appetizer and were definitely not disappointed by that or the main dishes. Will be back for more.

I love love love their fermented tea leaf salad. And I love that they have a vegan option. That and the samusa soup are delicious and flavorful. Unfortunately the falafel is way too dry, so I don't recommend them. It might be ok to soak up in the soup but I just don't eat those. More...

Visiting Pleasanton with a colleague and decided to try Burmese food. What a fantastic choice! Food was flavorful and absolutely delicious! Also excellent service and the owner also provided extra attention and suggestions when we didn’t know what to try. We had plata with coconut curry chicken, samusas, lamb curry, kabat with lamb, hot and cold Burmese milk tea, and we got to try tea leaf salad. Everything was fabulous! More...

Great food, excellent service! Brown rice pairs well with both the fiery tofu with veggies, and the garlic eggplant. 4 stars because dishes are a bit dry, despite flavorful.

Yesterday was my first adventure with this restaurant & this type of food. Everything about it is delightful. The easy downtown location, the parking, the ambiance, the friendly staff — and the food. The wonderful food!I ordered the tea leaf salad. Fermented green tea leaves. Who knew! The Burmese, obviously, but they keep their secret close. Condiments with flavor/color/texture contrasts enhanced the experience. My main dish was the mango shrimp. Served with a side of steamed jasmine rice. Mmmmm! Other than the flavors of mango & shrimp I could not identify the subtle, nuanced hints that added depth to savor in the dish. It will be hard for me to duplicate when I return home to Idaho. Oh, I will try! More...

Went with our team for lunch. We had a reservation for it. We just loved the food and service. Food was served within 10 min of placing the order. They were all flavorful. We just emptied everything we ordered. Coconut Chicken Noodle Soup & Lemongrass chicken are must try. Deserts were good too. Parking is tricky as there is limited parking in Division street but, there are ample road side parking available around the block. Will surely re-visit this restaurant for the yummy food. More...
