I signed up with Verizon Fios because of the rep that came to my house.  He was extremely polite and wanted to help me an anyway he could.  He helped upgrade my services with Verizon and give me way more for the money I was spending on my cable bill.  I love the customer service and the personal interaction that they have, it is way better then speaking with someone over the phone!  I recommend for anyone to sign up with Verizon if anyone comes to your door and offers to help u out with your cable! I had the fortunate pleasure to interact with one of this organization's employees, Jamie O., who signed me up for a Verizon Fios package on a campaign she was working on. Jamie was brilliant! She was not your typical salesperson. She was low-key, friendly and persistent in listening to my needs and what I was looking for. At that time, I had an internet-only package with the other major competitor here on LI, but Jamie developed and tailor-made a triple-play package (cable/WiFi/telephone) that was far too compelling for me to pass up. Jamie knew her product! Initially, I was only interested in the WiFi package but when I saw the custom-made cable package she developed for me, it was tough to say no. Jamie did not resort to any gimmicks, was very straightforward and I feel refreshingly honest. Because of Jamie's professionalism and trustworthy nature, I had no reservations in signing up for the 2-year Verizon deal. It's been about 2 months now and I love the service and packages Jamie helped me to sign-up for. It's clear to me Jamie has some inherent exceptional skills and abilities that will take her very far professionally. It was a real delight to meet and interact with her and she made the whole process as simple as could be. This woman knows her customer and embodies an ideal of what customer service should be like! As someone who has many years experience working in corporate culture, I can say that this organization is very lucky to have someone of the caliber and talent as Jamie.
