I was there for a weekday lunch - first time. Monday through Friday lunch is buffet only. I am not an expert on food from Nepal or India, but I thoroughly enjoyed the offerings. Typically I eat meat most days, but I found the vegetarian food even better than the meat-based dishes. I also like that the buffet has the vegetarian dishes on the left side of the buffet and meat-based on the right. They have a quite varied menu for dining in the evening and for weekend lunches. Everest Cuisine restaurant has seating outdoors with umbrellas for the warmer days. I saw on their website (January 2020) that they charge more for lunch buffet when the customer uses a credit card and I do not like that. New found gem in South Bay for some great North Indian food. My favorites so far are the titanic momo, goat curry and chicken chowmein. The food here is very authentic, and the spice level is just about right for me (not too hot). Also discovered that they have rewards program so one can collect points for free food items in future visits. Absolutely fantastic Indian/Nepalese food. Open late night so if you're ever having midnight Indian comfort food cravings this is the place you need to go to. The Momos are delicious and the perfect amount of spicy. All the other Indian dishes are above par and the naans are tasty and fresh. Fantastic service as well!! We made reservation around 8 pm and we were warmly welcomed right from the entrance. We ordered few appetizers but even though the restaurant was full, the dishes were served very quick which was surprisingly fast and efficient. Most of the other restaurant serves 8 pieces of Dumplings (Momo) but they serve 10 pieces which were decent in size and extremely delicious . The Signature dish - Titanic Momo exceeded my expectation. It was far more delicious than I imagined. The quantity and quality of Food is absolute bargain for what you pay. This is my favorite indian/nepalese restaurant in the bay area! I would highly recommend the millionaire naan and the chili momos. They also have great curries and we had the veg chow mein and the veg fried rice which were very flavorful as well. Staff was super friendly and accomodating. Dont forget the free chai! Everest Cusine is a delight. Clean and warm ambiance. First and foremost, the atmosphere is very welcoming. Free chai to warm your body before your meal! The staff and Anil (owner) are very humble and greets you with open arms. You can tell they are looking for repeat customers, and cares that you leave feeling content. We went in for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the Titanic momos, Chana masala (Vegan), chicken tikka massala, and the Everest naan basket. Unlike many others, the naan is very thin and comes in three different flavors. They run till 1am! Had a late night dinner here and really enjoyed the whole experience. The owner was very friendly and made my group feel very welcome and comfortable. I had a fun & pleasant dinner with friends at Everest Cuisine! We were welcomed by Anil, the owner who was dressed in a Nepalese national attire and he really made us feel at home. We shared the coconut cauliflower and momo for appetizers and I had the chicken tikka masala with some naan, which was all delicious. This place has such good nepali/indian food!!! I tried saag and momo and they are just perfect. The momo stuffing is compacted with lots of chicken meat and very little vege. Both dishes are well seasoned and balanced with flavor. They are not intense with herbal like some other places but flavorful enough to appreciate the specialty cuisine. I love how fresh and nicely blended the spinach sauce in my lamb saag dish. The lamb meats are huge pieces but very tender and nicely cooked with nice lamb flavor. We love this place!! We eat here atleast here 3 times a month and we love love the place! What a great place! First customers of the day allowed me to meet and talk to Deep the manager who kindly explained the new restaurant. The food was still coming out of the kitchen as we spoke and the aromas were permeating the room. Upscale interior and the food didn't disappoint. I am a huge fan of Momos and these guys have the best ones I have tried so far. This place recently had a change in management and the new owners are amazing. Our go to dish is the Nepali steamed chicken momos but the jhol momos were equally delicious. Apart from this, they also have good kadhai paneer, malai kofta and chicken dishes. Manager said the restaurant has been under new ownership and management since summer 2019. Â My first time there. We had the Titanic Momo (vegetarian) as a shared appetizer and it was delicious-- delicately spiced, flavorful sauce. The Momo look like a bit like Chinese pot stickers, and the Titanic version is served with about 12 in a serving dish covered in the sauce. Save the remaining sauce for dipping the garlic naan. The Momo was better than anything I had in Nepal many decades ago. Our group also had Tandoori chicken, Dal Makhani, and Malai Kofta. Our guest reported the Tandoori chicken was excellent. The Malai Kofta was not like any I have had before, and it was the best I've tasted-- slightly sweet, with a bit of tang and unusual spices-- different than I have had in northern Indian restaurants. The Dal Makhani was excellent, and thicker than I have had elsewhere. The restaurant atmosphere for dinner is not quite as casual as I expected from seeing the photos on their website. New Chef and Owners from Nepal but same restaurant name! Â If you have not eaten here since May 2019, it is worth coming in for the buffet lunch or late night dinner. Â Where else can you find good Indian food at midnight? They have a few fantastic special plates, such as the sizzling plate called Everest Special Mix Grill Platter with shrimp, chicken, and lamb or the Titanic Jhol Momo chicken , which is like a spicy pot sticker in a broth sauce.Our office party came in for buffet today and everything was fresh and tasty, especially the chicken tikka masala and mushroom dish.
