We took family photos for our Christmas card and they came out beautiful! Ester was great with the kids, she has so much patience and the kids had a lot of fun working with her. I found Ester through Facebook. She posted on a local group that she was offering Birthday mini-sessions during the month of August. As I browsed through her photos I was interested in her work & in setting something up for my daughters first birthday portraits. I'm not a fan of JCPenny's quality of the photos, and was going to look into Portrait People for my daughters first b-day photos, because let's face it, I just cannot afford a professional photographer. I contacted Ester right away. We discussed her requirements and I paid a deposit and set up a date for the photo shoot at her in-home studio. We discussed the do's/dont's of photo sessions, and she even gave me recommendations on dresses, when I told her I was struggling too find just the right dress.

On the day of the shoot, we arrived at Ester's home. It was set up as shown in the advertisement. She was patient while we dressed my daughter in her special dress, and patient while she took all of our daughters pictures. She interacted with my daughter during the shoot and was completely at ease while photographing her. I was nervous about the photo shoot because Ester took so many pictures, I'm guessing close to a hundred if not more. My daughter just DID NOT want to smile, instead she made silly faces. As I left Ester's studio I as extremely excited and extremely nervous at the same time about what she was able to capture. Ester mentioned she had a two week turn around of editing the photos but she contacted me a week later and already had the proofs to send.

Ester sent 8 photos, each one captured a different perspective of my daughters personality. I immediately fell in love with almost all of them. My husband & I decided to order all 8 digital prints. 4 digital prints were found included in the photo session but she notified us of her charges for any additional photos, which seemed to be a fair price in my opinion.

I'm really happy that Ester posted her ad on FB when she did, as I'm not a regular FB user. Ester made my daughters 1st birthday photos something special to remember at an affordable price.

I look forward to working with Ester again for family photos and many other special family occasions in the future. She gives a personal touch to her communications, and I think that goes a long way in the business industry. More...

I entered Ester's contest and was lucky to win! I can't even tell you how happy i am with the pictures. Even though my baby wasn't in the smiling mood (lol) and kept trying to crawl away to explore her home, the shots were amazing! I've gone to studios before for pictures, and let me tell you the difference is huge! Didn't have to deal with all the noise, or crying, wasn't all chaotic and we had the undivided attention during the shoot. Ester is amazing! Our first time doing a photo shoot and I wanted some family maternity pictures to have as memories. Ester went beyond my expectations. From the 1st phone call we had, to the explanation of the shoot and day of...she made us feel extremely comfortable and got us out of our shells.
