First time Estates Chimney Sweep Professionals from start to finish. What a great experience. We expect to be longtime customers. We first met with Tom who listened to our needs and recommend a wood burning fireplace insert. Then Michael came out and inspected our chimney. Soon after Andy and Tyrone came out to install our wood-burning fireplace insert and chimney liner. They left our place as clean as as they found it. At each step of the way when we had a question they gave us the answer and told us to call with any new questions. They gave us tips to make the best use of our new insert and SAFETY POINTS. Once we got our wood burning insert going the temperature went from 66 to 74 degrees. When we need our chimney cleaned we’ll schedule it with Karen and the Estates Chimney Sweep Team. Thanks everyone. Tom N Barb More...

Estates Chimney Sweep installed our new direct vent gas fireplace to replace the builder’s model that was inefficient, very drafty and needed the flue always open slightly to vent the pilot. It looks great and the smart remote is easy to use. Mike in sales was easy to work with and installers Jake and Josh had the new one done and running in a half day. We highly recommend them. More...

We recently found out that we needed our complete gas flue pipe extracted and replaced in our townhome. Dave, from DVC Roofing recommended Estates Chimney and we called for an estimate. We agreed to the price and today Andy & Tyrone showed up at their appointed time and went to work. They were here about 8 hours and never stopped working. Both gentlemen were friendly, knowledgeable and polite and had a great sense of humor. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs service. And they just loved our dog.... More...

Services

Gas, Wood or Pellet fireplace inserts are designed to be placed inside an existing masonry fireplace and uses the existing fireplace and chimney to hold the unit and support venting. A gas fireplace insert transforms an old wood fireplace into a high-efficiency gas heater that uses either natural gas or propane.

Wood fireplace inserts are designed to be placed inside an existing wood fireplace allowing you to update your drafty, open wood fireplace, dramatically increase heating capacity and wood burning efficiency while still enjoying the unmatched warmth, ambience and nostalgia that only wood fireplaces can provide.

Pellet Stove Inserts are a convenient and environmentally friendly way to heat your home and save money. They are quiet, efficient and cost effective home heaters that are designed to fit perfectly into your existing open fireplace. These EPA certified pellet stoves offer large hoppers to minimize loading and maximize convenience.

Estates Chimney will professionally clean your fireplace or stove, clean-out the flue, flue vent assembly along with your chimney for improved efficiency and perform a safety inspection for one low fee.

Safety is a major concern when it comes to maintaining and inspecting your chimney. It is recommended that you have your chimney serviced on a regular basis or before using your stove or fireplace if it hasn’t been used in a while. Why, you ask? If it isn’t venting properly, smoke and harmful gases could back up into your home.

A substance known as Creosote, a by-product of burning wood, condenses on the relatively cool surface of the chimney. As it builds up it is either black or brown and can be crusty and flaky … tar-like, drippy and sticky … or shiny and hardened. Many times you will see all forms in one chimney. Creosote is highly combustible and if a significant quantity builds up, it can result in a chimney fire. Even though any amount of Creosote can burn, Chimney Sweeps are most concerned when creosote builds up in sufficient quantities to sustain a long, hot, devastating chimney fire.

A well maintained (cleaned and inspected) chimney will not catch fire. Make sure to have your chimney system inspected annually by a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep like Estates Chimney.

Introduce an element of traditional elegance while warming your home with controllable heat with a luxury wood burning fireplace. We offer models that utilize modern innovations to optimize heat output, while providing you with options that fit any personality or design preference.

Our full range of fireplaces ensures that you can find a model that will work perfectly with your home décor. A classic design ensures that your wood fireplace will become the centerpiece of any room. Install them in any room with a chimney for a beautiful and functional addition. Reduce your dependency on gas or electric energy, with the peace of mind that you will have a source of heat, warmth and comfort even during a power outage in the dead of winter. We carry fireplaces, Bucks County and Montgomery County homeowners trust to warm their homes safely.

One of the key benefits of zero clearance wood fireplaces is that they can be installed in any type of residence, even in many mobile homes. These fireplace are also low-maintenance, as you don’t have to be concerned with costly chimney or masonry repairs, and they are easy to operate and install as well. These fireplaces are also more efficient than an open-hearth masonry fireplace. Open-hearth options may have just 10 percent efficiency, while zero clearance wood fireplaces can have an efficiency rating of up to 70 percent.

Zero-clearance fireplaces are per-manufactured fireplaces that can be installed almost directly against combustible materials like wood, walls, or paneling. The construction and materials of the firebox do not allow the outside temperatures of the firebox to affect those materials and do not require a hearth. Zero-clearance fireplaces do not need a chimney for venting and can be vented through the ceiling or through an exterior wall.

A zero clearance gas fireplace can also replace a per-existing manufactured wood burning fireplace. We will remove the old unit and replace with a highly efficient Gas Fireplace. This also gives a home owner the opportunity to refresh the interior design surrounding the old fireplace.
