My daughter Megan looked forward to her tutoring sessions with Emily because she always felt she learned a lot and was comfortable with asking any questions. I went to Emily Timothy for help with math I needed to learn to take a test for employment. At the time I was seven years removed from any kind of schooling and pretty much hopeless. Emily helped my daughter prepare for the chemistry regents. She was so accommodating with our schedule and tried very hard at fitting us in. Once my daughter started working with her she really started to understand the subject much better with Emily's guidance. She was patient and made sure that everything was clear. Emily was such a great help when my son was going through his first semester in college!! The transition from high school to college was a challenge, but the online sessions with Emily helped him tremendously. He learned how to not only plan his projects, but also write several types of essays for his intro classes. She was able to help him better understand the material and also helped him manage the huge final project he had to do.
