About
Dear Friends, May 30, 2021
It’s with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce that
Essence of Events, LLC has permanently closed due to the
insurmountable financial impacts of the continuing coronavirus,
subsequent government - mandated shutdowns and restrictions.
For the past 19 years, it has been my privilege to serve many clients
from all over the world, a majority of which were couples with
weddings. In 2002, I started this company from scratch just 6 months
after the birth of my daughter Esseance and chose to name it after
her. With the intent and goal to use my talents to help others and
have the ability to have flexibility to be home with my children so I
could be an active participant in their lives. It seems only fitting,
with her 19th Birthday being today, that today be the date of closure
of Essence of Events, LLC.
In the hospitality and event industry, it is only natural to bond with
your clients and vendors in a way no other industry does. Time and
energy that has been devoted to each individual, whether working with
a couple or company, has created strong bonds and in some cases, even
lasting bonds over the years. As hundreds of major milestones have
been celebrated, from engagements, parties that followed, rehearsal
dinners and on into their union in marriage. As life and additional
privilege of service has gone on to include the excitement and
celebrations for anniversaries, followed by baby showers, birthdays
and even to include the most difficult times - when loved ones have
been lost. Through all of these highs and lows, I have been able to
maintain my sense of passion for service and recognition of the needs
of each individual that I’ve had the privilege to serve with the
utmost respect and compassion to the best of my ability, including
vendors I worked alongside. In doing so, I have had the blessing of
cultivating meaningful and lasting friendships and being able to
witness so many continue on in their commitments and devotion to their
partners, families, careers and communities.
This business poses great challenges that I conquered daily.
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic was one challenge I was not able
to overcome.
To all those who supported me through this journey by their words,
actions and referrals - my success came from you. Successes that I
will forever be grateful for including:
PROJECTS
Retail Window and Store Displays, Onsite Venue Management, Event Trade
Show Management, and the collaboration with several venues including
Mandalay Bay LV, Harrah’s Atlantic City and Messe Frankfurt Germany.
