I needed area carpets, several upholstered couches and window seat cushions steam cleaned to get ready for a dog-allergic relative visit. Ernie did the work himself that day as it was right before Christmas. I was so impressed with the thoroughness and attention to detail he took as he cleaned everything. I was in dire need of carpet cleaning the following week and didn't realize many of the carpet cleaning companies were so busy with such short notice.  I wasn't willing to pay upwards of $200 for two rooms under 600 sq. ft. and decided I wanted a profesional treatment over a DIY rental.I was able to get a good deal for the two rooms.  Unfortunately the day of the scheduled cleaning, the proper equipment wasn't brought.  Their schedule was pretty booked up, and it was going to be a legitimate cancellation with total fustration.  However, Ernie was able to work with me and accommodate my time line before the furniture arrived.  My white carpets were cleaned nicely with all the signs of traffic gone and he only took an hour.I prefer using hardworking family businesses like Ernie's and would contact him again if I'm in need of such services.  He is solicitious, friendly and does a great job! We've now hired Ernie and his team twice. In both cases, the team has been miracle workers - helping a cream colored carpet trampled daily by two dogs and two kids, look like new. In addition, he took care of two area rugs and a couch - all superbly done. They are thorough and professional; we even had Ernie take care of the cleaning while we were away. In spite of the reviews I admit I wasn't particularly optimistic. It felt great to be so wrong. I called to schedule an appointment, they gave me a reasonable quote over the phone and schedule the cleaning within a few days. They showed up within the time frame provided (always good). Anyway, when I looked at the finished product I was amazed. We've got that light beige (which was no longer beige) renter's carpet which was 10 years old. I've had Ernie's Carpet Cleaning clean my carpets about twice a year for the last 8 years and each time I am grateful.1-Courteous service--prompt and on time, polite phone calls, provided me with shoe covers each time while carpets dried out to prevent wet feet! 2-Pet aware.  Asks if doors can be left open before leaving them open and asks about pets.  Cleaned up all stains left by my pet(s) very well.  I thought my carpets were so bad they needed to be replaced.  Ernie's Carpet Cleaning made 8 year old carpets new again!  I currently have the luck to enjoy a 15-year-old in-door rescue cat, which would not do well unattended outside.  Previous to Ernie's Carpet Cleaning I had a cleaning one time with another service that was oblivious to pets.  (By the way, the cat rescued me, not the other way around.)3-Cleaning agents--all agents are non-toxic and have a minimal natural cleaning odor that is gone in a few hours after the carpets fully dry.  The last thing I want is lemon fresh or ocean mist perfumes in my carpet.4-Water usage--After the cleaning the water that was used to clean my carpets which was full of dirt was reused on a part of my front garden where I don't grow food to water my plants.  Water recycling is very important in California and I was able to get clean carpets and be good to the environment (and the cleaning agents are non-toxic and degrade to nothing).5-Very reasonable price and the same price each time for the same carpet area.Ernie's Carpet Cleaning is like having a family member that visits twice a year to help clean the carpets.  I may have to increase this to quarterly visits to keep up with the dirt.If I ever lose Ernie's Carpet cleaning services, I will pull out my carpets and re-finish the hard wood floors underneath because I won't have anyone else clean my carpets.  I'd rather have no carpets than have anyone else clean my carpets. We rent a house with the dirtiest oldest carpets ever. I really didn't think they would become any cleaner, I was just hoping for Earnie to be able to get the smells out. Great job! Ernie was able to schedule our cleaning very quickly, he was on time, ultra professional and did a fantastic job! Our house had been previously rented by people with very messy kids and disgusting cats. The sellers agreed to cleaning the carpets but did it themselves. They still looked so filthy but we were in a hurry to move in since work schedules were tight. Anyhow, 8 months later tons of spots were visible and getting worse even in areas where we don't use. Ernie was able to get everything out and even left me with a new bottle of more gentle spot remover than the store brands. I will definitely have him come again! Highly recommended. More...

Ernie is the best and very accommodating, I work in Real Estate so I have hired him for all my properties and my colleagues use him too.  There is nothing Ernie cannot do, this property in Mtn. view was grimy and black it turned out that it had beautiful white carpet.  He has also cleaned my son's evening accidents on his bed.  Besides making the mattress brand new again, he also did an excellent job on my sofas.And the value you get with his service is worth every penny. I needed my carpets cleaned right away.  My mother-in-law was visiting!  I called 15+ places and none of them could help me with less than a 48 hr notice.  Ernie had 20 recommendations via the BA Checkbook and he was available within 24 hrs.  He did a great job and was easy to work with.  He wasn't able to get mysterious pen/marker/stamp pad stains out of my daughter's carpet, but he went over the spots many times and explained he would not recommend using harsher chemicals in bedrooms.  I'm very pleased with how the other room turned out.  He was able to get every single spot out of my bedroom and the carpet looks brand-new. I've lived in Emerald HIlls for almost 20 years and have been cleaning my carpets ever since.  Ernie's is by far the best carpet cleaning service I've use in all those years!  He not only gave me same day service, but did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price!!   Carpets also were quite dry by the time he completed the job.  We have a new puppy ...need I say more(?!)...my carpets were a disaster.  Now they look amazing!  Definitely give Ernie a call....you will not regret it!!   Also, did I mention...he's a great guy too!
