Erin was wonderful she is extremely professional and is very passionate on what she does. She is so patient with babies I was extremely nervous today to take my babies pictures because babies can be difficult but she was great with my baby. She gave us different options on receiving our pictures and it was very easy to view our pictures and pick the ones that we wanted she has everything set up so its easy for the client to access their pictures. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
We believe that the secret to taking a great photograph is to make sure that our client/s is/are having fun and enjoying themselves. Being able to capture genuine happiness is the best way to get amazing photos. Some photographers will just do pose after pose after pose and that can lead to having very "flat" photos instead of the photo telling a story of happiness. Make sure to always stay upbeat and just go with the flow.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
One of the first questions we ask is what type of session are they looking for, then the more in depth details as in location, how do they want the photos to look? Earthy? Urben? beachy? making sure that we are on the same page for the expectations of the session is thee most important thing.
What do you love most about your job?
The thing I love most about my job is being able to capture special memories that my client will cherish forever. Knowing that I was/am able to help them always look back on a piece of happiness is such an amazing feeling. Throughout our lives we tend to forget things, a lot, having pictures makes sure that you never forget. Another thing I love is being able to meet new people and being able to give people a break from their busy lives and just have some fun together.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always wanted to be my own boss, who doesn't right? But, I wanted to make sure that whatever I chose, was something that I would never get tired of, something that I would always find interesting, always room for growth, challenging yet enjoying, and something that I could take pride in. I wanted to be able to perform everything the way that I wanted to so that I could make sure that my clients were receiving the upmost best of everything I can offer.
