I had reached out to five cabinet makers to get quotes on a new master bathroom vanity and several built-ins before contacting Epic Woodwork. Two never even bothered to return my calls. One wasn’t interested because my job wasn’t big enough. Another came to my home and did measurements, promising to get back to me later in the week with a quote. It never came. The fifth gave an extremely high estimate without even coming to my home. By the time I contacted Epic I was pretty frustrated. Pepe Gamarra owns Epic Woodwork and my experience with him and his crew was the exact opposite of those other guys. He really knows his stuff and is excellent at customer service. He came to my home and, after asking what style we were looking for, took detailed measurements. With them he generated a 3-D software rendering of what the vanity and cabinets would look like in my space. That really sold my wife. His quote was very reasonable too. Highly recommend Pepe and Allan at Epic Woodwork!  Not only was their impeccable, but they did everything they said they were going to do - including completing our project on time.  We have worked with a number of contractors in the past and they typical issues have seemed to be communication and scheduling.  We had neither of these issues with Pepe.  We are very happy with our kitchen and Pepe and Allan both went above and beyond to keep us satisfied as their client.  If you're looking for a trustworthy, extremely competent company for any of your remodels - I would suggest giving Epic Woodwork a call! Pepe and Allan were amazing to work with! From start to finish - they did what they said they were going to do and got the job done right when they said it would be completed. We have worked with several contractors - and the biggest issues seem to be effective communication and scheduling. We had no issues with either with Pepe and Allan and the work was impeccable! We researched over and over for cabinetry as my wife and I had just bought a fixer-upper and had to gut the ENTIRE kitchen (every square inch). We decided to reach out to Pepe after being disappointed in several cabinet companys' inability to project a feasible 'vision' relating to what we were looking for as well as align the style of cabinetry with the level of our neighborhood homes to ensure maximum resale value in the future. He helped select the countertop as well. I wasn't able to meet him to select granite for our kitchen counters and he did a video chat. Talk about going the extra mile. I was able to view and select the material without being there. He's easy to talk to, has a great customer service attitude, and open to suggestions. He lets you know if something won't work (think - certain materials in high humidity won't mix) and explains other options. Not many contractors look out for your best interest and budget. I took them the top of an old desk and showed them a photo of legs that I wanted them to build and attach to the old top. They were able to do exactly what I wanted and at a great price! Pepe is fantastic! The whole experience start to finish was wonderful. We were always able to text or call him with questions when we needed to. He was very practical with the remodel of our kitchen, and didn't try to oversell us on things we didn't want or need. The estimate was extremely reasonable, and we got more than we thought we could for a budget under 10k. We only had one problem along the way with the backsplash and that particular sub contractor, but when we contacted Pepe, he came out and personally assessed the issue and took care of it ASAP. All work was completed in a timely manor. We felt like despite our project not being the most expensive, we still received the same level of attention and service as larger/expensive projects. I want to thank Pepe (Epic Wood Work) and his team for the excellent, EXCELLENT job he did on our kitchen remodel – it turned out just splendid (and I’m picky AF).

My background and experience: I am an aircraft design engineer and I will admit that I am often “let down” as my expectations for precision are often very high (and sometimes unrealistic, I admit). After plenty of bad experiences with other contractors, I couldn’t bear the idea of a kitchen gut & full replacement – I was pessimistic about anyone being able to do an attention-to-detail sensitive job for a reasonable amount of money and on time.

Pepe came out, listened to my concerns, took measurements and even provided us a 3D rendition of the space (as seen on TV ). He helped us with the layout and had very valuable input on layout, efficiency and kitchen design “no no’s.” Before we knew it, the kitchen was being installed and I couldn’t believe that this project just simply. worked. out. without my intervention!!!!!!! What a concept!

I don’t often take the time to write reviews but I feel inclined to do so for Pepe. He’s restored my faith that there ARE still craftsmen out there that WILL do the job correctly and he is one of them. I am the owner of a couple restaurants in the Dallas area, as such we recently hired Pepe and his team to furnish the Millwork throughout our newest restaurant.  This included simple, typical pieces of Millwork like cabinets, as well as more complicated doors and benches.  We could not be happier with the results.  To start with, we hired Epic late in the game at a stage where we needed the furniture sooner rather than later or other trades were going to start getting delayed.  Though they were flooded with work they helped me come up with a staggered timeline where he delivered furniture as we needed it to complete other pieces of the construction.  They were honest and forward and careful not to over promise and under deliver which has been my experience with many millwork companies or subcontractors in general.  In summary we did not have any delays due to the millwork, every piece was delivered on the exact day it was promised and made to the specifications we discussed.  His prices were very fair, and his invoice came exactly as discussed with no surprises.  I would highly recommend Pepe and his team for residential and commercial projects.  Come check out his quality at Arepa TX in Dallas (5940 Royal Ln). showed up for our in house consultation on time. He was very professional and extremely helpful guiding us through designing a kitchen that was stunning and at the same time functional.

We are so happy with our kitchen and laundry cabinets. Pepe went above and beyond on our kitchen remodel. Pricing (awesome I shopped around). Quality of his cabinets are better than big box stores and others. Pepe worked with us with our design plan. Installation in 2 days.
I'm saving the best part for last. Pepe did all this for me while I was going through chemotherapy for breast cancer. He came all the way to Hot Springs Arkansas to make our dreams come true.
