Wow! From the very beginning, we knew Scott would be the DJ for us! He is extremely responsive to emails, very personable, and professional. At our first meeting prior to signing a contract, my husband and I felt immediately comfortable with Scott. He said a phrase that was important to us without being prompted: “I am not the entertainment, I provide the entertainment.” It was very important to us that our DJ was not constantly on the microphone as that’s a huge pet peeve of ours. Scott definitely held up to his word. He provided excellent music and kept the dance floor packed!! He announced everything as needed and complied with requests, as long as my husband and I approved. DJ Scott Sica was great! He was the DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception on January 20th, 2018. He did an amazing job reading the crowd and keeping everyone on the dance floor all night. Scott is very attentive and responsive to his clients. We met with him a few times throughout the planning process and he was so helpful. Scott was absolutely perfect for our wedding, and he more than any other aspect of it made me want to jump online to review as he deserves all the recommendations he gets. Extremely professional, stayed in touch with our venue throughout the planning to make sure all the prep was in place without even bothering us about it. We'd told him in our first meeting that we didn't want any sort of 'entertainer' or big character taking over, and he was exactly what we wanted. Great music that had people dancing all night and never felt forced or overly cheesey, not telling a bunch of jokes or making it about him, which I've seen other DJs do. Allowed us to have as much or as little influence on the music selections as we wanted which was also great, we gave him a few important things to play (and a couple not to play,..) but left the majority up to him and that worked really well. Scott recently provided DJ and lighting services at my remission celebration party held at the Andover Inn. His service was excellent and he was instrumental in ensuring that the party flowed smoothly from coordinating with the staff at the Inn to providing music and lighting. Scott played the music we selected, and avoided those we did not want played. He expertly filled in any music in between, and stuck to minimal announcements and keeping things low-key, as we requested. His lighting added perfectly to the ambiance and décor. My Newly-Wed Wife & I have been at many weddings and functions and have experienced the "vibe" that DJ's provide via their particular skill-set and talents.

We found Scott Sica on wedding wire and arranged a meeting with him shortly after. From the moment we met Scott we knew that he would be a great DJ for our wedding. He was very flexible and knowledgable. He also has great positive energy, which is necessary for any celebration. Meet him once and you will know what i mean!

It's no secret that musical entertainment is going to be the number one factor in determining whether your guests have fun. We went with Scott after he was recommended to us. We met with multiple DJs and have been to countless weddings in the Greater Boston area and ultimately went with Scott. He had the party going all night. He also met with us multiple times prior to the wedding to make sure he got all of our feedback on the music we wanted. Unlike some DJs, he didn't inject himself or his ego into the night to pump himself or his business up. He makes sure the night is all about the wedding couple. I think what we liked the most was that he blended music from all decades to ensure that guests of all ages made it to the dance floor.

Bonus: Scott let us check him out at a venue that he was playing at before we booked him so we could ensure we were going with a great DJ.

Do your homework and meet with as many DJs and bands as possible to get an idea for what you want. But you would be doing yourself a great disservice to not include Scott in the list of people you meet with, He will deliver a better performance and a price that is much better than the competition. What can we say. My partner and I live in California and as we are still unable to get married in our home State we had to travel to MA. Scott was referred to us and it was only 3 months until our event. We were
very happy to find that Scott had that date open. From the moment that we met I knew he was that one to work with. Scott know his business and helped direct us and suggest the best way to execute our wedding. Our wedding was at our home, we were fortunate to have the space to do this.
Scott Provided both lighting for dancing and music in our tent as well as providing sound with microphones and speakers on the other side of the property where our vows took place. Scotts easy going personality and eagerness to please was beyond what we could expect of him. Setting up and tearing down so quietly you didn't know he was around. I didn't know Scott before our wedding but he was so pleasant to be with that we plan on staying friends in the future. You need to work with good people that are friendly, cooperative and eager to work with you. Scott is affordable and willing to work with you, you owe it to yourself to call Scott as he was amazing. I really cannot say enough about Scott. We knew 5 minutes into our first meeting that we wanted to have him at our wedding, and he was all we expected and more. We had a fairly long, and quirky, list of songs, and he took all our requests with a smile. He was extremely responsive throughout the planning process, and always willing to meet up to go over things. We really felt like he "got" us, and never worried that anything would go wrong during the wedding...we were right, it didn't!

Scott executed our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music (all at one venue but in different locations) just the way we had envisioned. He played our requests, avoided everything on our "do not play" list, and filled in music that fit perfectly with what we had already chosen. In addition to that, he was the go-to man for timing and organization. He was on-site at least 3 hours before our ceremony started and was an unbelievable help in terms of moving people from one spot to another, making sure introductions were correct/on time, and coordinating toasts.

Every single time he walked by us he gave us a big smile and made sure we were happy. Even putting music aside, our wedding would not have been as wonderful as it was without Scott's friendliness, professionalism, and commitment to exceeding expectations. Scott was great -- listened to what we wanted, played EXACTLY what we wanted (classic rock) and even suggested some great classic rock instrumentals (Vitamin String Quartet ) for our ceremony, which everyone loved. Scott did a great job on my wedding day. Played the music we wanted to hear and made my most important guests want to dance. The only issues I had were some lengthy delays between songs, kept calling to make sure he understood his notes and that he was unfamiliiar with my wedding video before he showed it. Otherwise, he was very accomodating, was on time, extremely friendly and very personable. He made all the special touches happen perfectly.
