I absolutely have no regrets booking DJ Jay Bondz for my wedding. It was important to me to have a DJ that was personable and able to mesh well with the crowd. My family ranges from super-conservative religious people to the wild and crazy party people, and he was able to accommodate both.

In booking with Enterprize DJ’s I was also able to book a photographer, Jason. He was phenomenal! Showed up early and got all of the shots that I wanted. Super nice and easy to work with.

Good evening here is my review of how Saturday went. I want to put it quite frankly I didn’t leave the venue fully satisfied in your performance. I heard maybe 12 songs out of the whole playlist I sent in with over 78 songs. That’s with me counting the scheduled dances and the ceremony songs. During cocktail hour I didn’t hear any of the songs I added under the cocktail hour section. I’d also like to touch on professionalism or the lack of it. As a vendor you are paid to DJ not mingle and drink on the job. Which is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. You made a lot of my female guest extremely uncomfortable, totally out of line telling a guest you’d bend them over your knee/ lap and spank them. Calling guest” little girl”, sitting and talking to them in general. Telling a guest that it was a dry crowd or any negative comments on the people paying you is outlandish. I know my audience and I picked songs I knew they’d dance to, which once again weren’t played. Around 6:20 you asked when the dance floor was to be open which I responded it was supposed to be opened over an hour ago. It seems like after the main dances the timeline went out the window and the day of coordinator had to remind you events were coming up. Also having a camera set up to record then snapping at a guest because they “ruined your perfect shot and you’ll just have to edit it out” when you were not authorized to record my ceremony to begin with is unacceptable. Vendors aren’t to be flirting with guest. As well as giving speeches, those are reserved to close family and friends. Completely out of line for you to think it was acceptable to give advice to the couple. When it came to the intro song you were supposed to switch songs for the bride and groom to come out to a different song which didn’t happen. Vendors are to be seen not heard. I can understand your confusion with the photographer sitting down eating with an alcoholic beverage as well as the day of coordinator, I know those two closely outside of the wedding. The photographer being my cousin and day of coordinator being a close friend. As I returned to work all I heard was “ Congratulations I heard you had a creepy DJ. “ that is not how I want my wedding to be remembered. I hope you take this with stride and change your mannerisms and professionalism.

Edit to add 10/18/23 : I was now informed you were excited to be doubled fisted with beers. Highly disappointed in your service and professionalism. More...

Jhortann I would like schedule a call with you and your husband and listen to your feedback and take notes of the incidents that occurred and I know that it may not fix the situation however I would like for you and your husband to have a conversation with me so I can make my company better more professional. I understand you are upset and I’m not sure where or how that review was removed. I wanted to humbly tell you I was sorry face to face and listen and learn and that I wasn’t indenting to ruin your moment and give advice when I was speaking from the bottom of my heart to you and your husband i just wanted to provide a heartfelt tribute to you not to make a scene or distract from your special occasion. I wouldn’t be reaching out to you if I wasn’t trying to make this right and being sincere. I respect your wish with not wanting to speak with me however I’ve realized that sometimes I’m misunderstood and my humor can be offensive. I’ve dj’d a lot of weddings and used the same personality and I’ve learned that every wedding is not the same and I need to have more tac with my performance and more considerate of what somone may presive as unprofessional and inappropriate. I even received a tip and a hand shake from one of your guest because I was making sure that the sound wasnt to loud and they thanked me for asking. I will mail you a refund that is not a problem at all however it will not replace the moment and being able to resolve a problem and allow your voice to be heard. What Im trying to do is establish peace and actually face the the feedback and complaints and provide a resolution. I can assure that I’ve learned a valuable lesson and will be more considerate about events that we do in the future. Also I will go and investigate with google to see where the review may have been placed because your right people have a right to know. Also prior to setting up my equipment I asked someone who I originally thought was the coordinator if it was okay to record and that I was going to edit the video and send it to both of you as a token of appreciation. the video footage Ive been editing to to provide for your review, I will respect your wishes and delete the video. Also the young lady that I spoke with about her being in front of the camera was a misunderstanding because her and husband was laughing and joking about it and I didn’t snap at anyone. Additionally, I wasn’t trying to flirt with or be creepy with anyone. Furthermore, I definitely believe that my humor or my personality and performance was not what was best for your ceremony however I would like to say you are actually the first client to be offended by my performance because those jokes I’ve recycled for months as an mc/dj. And I don’t hide bad reviews 1. I don’t know how to and 2. Im not perfect. But I want you to know you were my first bad review and I want to thank for not holding back because I’m not perfect nor will I pretend to be. I don’t have an issue with what you post as a review because you have that right to just wanted to give you an opportunity to relay it to me because at the end of the night I didn’t receive that feedback or was left that impression while everyone departed the event including yourself and your husband. Finally I know you don’t know me from a can of paint but the intention for performing at your wedding was to leave a lasting memorable impression not a horrible one. I really hope and pray that you will find it in your heart to forgive me for overstepping by not making sure that my humor and performance would be considered offensive or uncomfortable. I have truly learned a lesson and will be more considerate and respect the fact that somine maybe offended. Also I never provide humor or try to be funny like that again. I really put myself in your shoes and not saying that I can relate to the feeling at all. I can imagine that it was embarrassing and offensive. To take it to another step and spoke with some of my mentors after my text to you and we all discussed the review and their feedback and it brought perspective of how out of line I was. I wish that this never happened. I would have done this with a different approach. I can promise you this in the future I will make sure that I’m more considerate and professional in performance and have more etiquette when doing future events. The DJ’s with enterprize DJ’s were amazing!!!! They had everyone dancing and having fun. All people talked about the next day was how great the DJ’s were and how they highly recommend them! I will be telling al my friends and family to book with them from now on! More...
