I liked Melissah's style right away--crisp and professional but also highly encouraging. She's been a great accountability partner. Initially we got in touch as fellow coaches trading sessions for accreditation hours. I used her for random personal goals I thought of moments before our sessions started. At one point I decided to write a memoir and her attention to detail, insight, and encouragement really helped me get into a regular (hours long) writing groove. She also improved my coaching style, giving me precise feedback and suggestions which allowed my sample coaching submission to pass the ICF board review. If you need to get something significant done, I recommend Melissah. Partnering with her definitely makes difficult tasks accessible. More...

My first mock interview was a complete disaster. If I had shown up to the hospital for my interview before trying this program, I would have failed at all three that I was scheduled for. After using the "On Demand" resource for RNs, I received two offers from the same hospital. I did so well that I did not get a call back for a second interview. The manager personally told me that I did not need to take part in the second round interviews. I accepted that position (Pediatric ICU). What do you love most about your job?
I have seen first-hand how bold and dynamic communicators are able to rise to the top in their careers and personal lives and achieve the highest level of success. I have also seen very capable and intelligent individuals struggle and lose jobs or promotion opportunities because they were never taught how to effectively communicate, interview, and present. Communicating doesn't always come easily for some people, but communication skills and the ability to articulate your message can be learned.
I want to level the playing field for all individuals to give them the tools they need to achieve happiness and success in their careers and personal lives. I have seen incredible transformations from my clients that have been life-changing. I love to empower my clients and to help them go from a state of ordinary to extraordinary!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I began my career as a journalist and then pivoted to teaching and training executives. I also spent more than 10 years working in all aspects of marketing. But it wasn't until I began coaching clients one-on-one and in group settings that I found my true calling: helping others become confident communicators!
Understanding my client's strengths has helped them to unlock their true potential, and tapping into those strengths has helped them build on their ability to communicate with authority and confidence.
Whether it's communicating in the boardroom, interviewing for a dream job, presenting to a large group, or networking with peers, I have helped thousands of clients develop strong communication skills that have become the foundation to their career and life success.
