Services

Child and Adolescent Therapy helps identify causes of client distress, improve coping skills, better express emotions, and increase problem-solving abilities. In a child centered relationship, children and adolescents learn by receiving emotional support, practicing conflict resolution, and understanding feelings and problems.

The teenage years are often a time of confusion, frustration, and anxiety for parents and adolescents alike as major developmental changes are occurring during this time. As loving parents, we want to protect our children and ensure they are emotionally healthy, but this can feel utterly impossible as many parents feel shut out from their adolescent’s life.

All of us crave a gratifying, healthy, and loving relationship,but at times that goal can be difficult to achieve. Whether you’re dating, contemplating marriage, or have been married for 50 years, it can beneficial to talk to a marriage counselor that can help you increase understanding of yourself, your partner, and the patterns of interaction that has become problematic in your relationship.

Having to consistently struggle to manage emotions and behaviors may sometimes feel insurmountable. It often causes daily problems within your life and can lead to long-term disruption within the family, relationships, or the workplace. Feeling overwhelmed, alone, anxious, afraid, misunderstood, sad and depressed, stuck, or any combination of these emotions impairs our ability to live the life we desire. Parenting is the hardest job in the world and many describe feeling unprepared and ill-equipped to handle the ever-changing challenges of parenthood.

Group therapy is an effective form of therapy in which a small number of people meet together under the guidance of a therapist to help themselves and one another. Groups are a safe and supportive space to address personal, relationship and societal issues. Group therapy may be used as the primary treatment approach, or it can be used along with individual therapy.
