We have worked with Erin and her staff at EMK Events for a few weddings and every time the wedding goes so smooth. She is very detail oriented and works closely with the vendors to make sure things are perfect. She doesn't control us, but instead works with us to make sure everyone is on the same page. Erin of EMK Events did a fantastic job planning my daughter's birthday party. My daughter wanted a My Little Pony theme and Erin made sure everything fit the theme, including the centerpieces, games and food.
The kids loved the My Little Pony bingo and the food was a big hit too. The apple juice had a sign that said Apple Acre's apple juice and the party snacks were labeled as Pinkie Pie's party mix. Erin even researched the lesser known ponies to ensure we had a themed sign for the pizza too. There were a few guests with allergies and Erin helped me ensure we had food everyone could enjoy. The party was a dream come true for my daughter and I could not have done it without EMK Events. I highly recommend this event planner for your special occasions!

I cannot recommend Erin enough! I called Erin 7 months before my wedding in a bit of a panic because I was starting to realize that I needed some help on the big day--we did a tent wedding in a nontraditional venue, so I didn't have a built in Day of Coordinator, and there is only so much I could ask friends and family to do! Erin was exactly the person I needed. She went above and beyond "day-of"...we chatted periodically throughout the planning stages to make sure I wasn't missing anything, and she always had a solution when I hit a logistical snag. She and her team arranged ceremony chair rental and handled set-up and tear-down, as our (again) non-traditional ceremony venue had strict timelines for how long we could be there--that was a BIG weight off my shoulders! Erin came to our rehearsal, and afterwards I happily handed over both my planning binder and all of the reception decor. I slept soundly that night, knowing everything was in good hands. And she saved our butts on the day of the wedding, driving across town to pick up the alcohol for our signature drinks, which my husband had left at home! No one can do a perfect wedding without a Wedding Planner. No words can describe how amazing Erin was from the beginning. Hi, my name is Marjie and I am the mother of the groom
. Erin has been side by side with me, Louis and Sarah (the Bride and Groom) from beginning to the day they got married. Erin goes way beyond her services to help the Bride and Groom and like me the parents too. Everything is written in the contract with her and also with other vendors that are supplying services for the wedding. She makes sure that everything is correct so the Bride and Groom have nothing to worry about except being the center of attention.
I recommend Erin not only for all the service she provides but for the caring person she is. Your daughter or son will feel like the Queen and King on their Wedding day. All due to an amazing woman behind the screen.

Erin was an absolute life saver when it came to planning my wedding. She was so organized and knew all the right questions to ask my vendors.
I booked her for day of coordination, but she started getting involved very early on in the planning process. Because I wasn't local to the area, she helped me visit sites for my rehearsal dinner. She also let me ship some wedding decorations to her house the week before the wedding since we weren't at the hotel yet. On the wedding day, she was very calm and collected - I barely worried about anything. She and her team took care of all the set up and tear down the day of the event so my husband and I could focus on getting ready and spending time with our families.
I would absolutely 100% recommend Erin for any planning event, you will not be disappointed.
