Absolutely delicious food with true culinary quality. I am so pleased with my experience here. My friend got a steak dish called churrasco and I got a quinoa dish with shrimp and it was INCREDIBLE. The dessert was also amazingly rich but not overpowering. This is certainly a special spot and I will come back. More...

Really good spot. They no longer had brunch menus and items so that was a bummer. The service and food were good though.

Being Cuban I can honestly say this is as Latin as it is going to get in Gainesville. I really enjoyed the brunch here! I got the guava crepe, if you have a sweet tooth this is your item! The best part about this brunch is the different mimosas they offer. They have a variety of tropical juices: mango, guava, passion fruit. It is a nice change from you typical mimosa. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a great brunch or your missing you Latin home cooking! More...

My favorite restaurant in Gainesville!! Do yourself a favor and get a dinner of their amazing tapas. My favorite in the camarones jerk, followed closely by the montada by cangrejo. Meat eaters also love the datiles rellenos. Really can't go wrong here. More...

Number one reason is Marcos. He really goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and happy. He has a very thoughtful vibe, and even suggested a major change to a mofongo dish to meet a dietary requirement! Also the drinks here are strong, and the portion sizes are just right More...

Service was good, food was very good for the most part. I enjoyed my pealla, but the appetizer (shrimp dish) was just ok. The cast iron skillet must not have been very hot, as the dish quickly cooled down . Flavor was good, but missed out on this execution point. I would go back and try it again. More...

Our server Avery, knowledgeable and super nice and suggested some dope dishes that we figuratively died over. Chef Kyle killed it. The hot sauces are amazing, had to purchase those for home. If we didn't live literally across the country, we'd be back often! More...

Great paella. Ask for the paellita (lunch portion) for $12.95. More than I could eat. They don't skimp on the seafood! Great, friendly service.

Awesome place for Sunday brunch. Bloody Mary was good, but you need to ask them to spice it up a bit...very good Spanish menu, including a Cuban, and a few very tasty breakfast dishes with some great chorizo. Oh yea, they also have a great mimosa, offering a few different items in addition to the traditional Orange Juice. We have only been there for Brunch, in was always very busy...you can make reservations if you like. This last time, it seems that a new place opened two doors down, and was that place was VERY crowded. No doubt because it was new. Good for us, as Emiliano's was not. I'm sure that once the newness of the other place wears off, reservations for Emiliano's will be a good idea. More...

It seems like I have a once-a-year dining plan at Emiliano’s. This time, brunch. Love that they work their usual menu tastes into their brunch items. My Cuban sandwich with egg (and an add-on of bacon at the server’s suggestion) was excellent. Great outdoor patio area that was breezy and cool even on a Florida August afternoon More...

Service was excellent! Love the vibe of this place. I try to come here every time I am in town for business. Usually they have a jazz trio which is lovely with dinner and a glass of wine.
I always feel comfortable coming here solo .

My boyfriend and i made a reservation last friday at 7pm for our 4yr anniversary. It was our first time going there! Parking was super bad but i called and told them our situation. Luckily the lady i spoke with said they would our table for us. We finally got there at 7:30 and i was sure they would have given up our table by that time. To my surprise, they didn't! I was so impressed. They made our night so so special. Our waiter, Calvin (i think), was AMAZING. He knew the menu like the back of his hand. Everything he recommended was on point, down to the variety of mojitos we had. 10/10 would go back :) More...

I always enjoy the food at Emiliano's. It's fresh, it's unique and delicious. Yesterday was no exception!
While I like less spicy food, the many flavors in my grilled grouper sandwich were amazing.
Our server was attentive without hovering. My friend and I were
catching up after many year, we stayed and stayed, no problem. She does not live in a Gainesville, i chose Emiliano's as a place to meet, knowing we would not be disappointed. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. I love their latest menu and am pleased Emiliano's continues to evolve in a competitive restaurant market.

Hubby and I had our 10 year anniversary date at Emiliano’s last night. The service from Maria was exceptional. As soon as she started describing the specials it was apparent that she has a passion for food the equals ours. She made wonderful suggestions for tapas and a cocktail. Everything was delicious, plated elegantly and the portions were substantial. We shared 4 tapas plates and were pleasantly full. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is eclectic. We are very impressed with the new tapas options and can’t wait to visit again to try other selections. More...
