Upon walking in the door Anu greets you with a bright, friendly smile instantly making you feel welcomed! Anu is most helpful with meeting and exceeding all of your needs. The project to which I needed assistance with required expedited embroidery which she was able to offer me. I've been using EmbroidMe in Sorrento Valley since 2013 for a running/walking team at the UCSD Triton 5K. The team has grown from 50 people to 249 members. Review is based on the service i have received in the last few days.  I was assisted by Susan and the owner herself Anu. They are extremely friendly and professional. When i first arrived i was assisted by Susan and she was very helpful. Asked all the detailed questions. I was shopping around to receive quotes from other vendors. After speaking with Anu, i reconsider my options and decided to work to EmbroidMe. Anu is super sweet, friendly and honest. Came by the other day to look at the sample and the sample itself looked great. I have yet to received the finished products and look forward to it based on the other customer reviews, they all seem to be very happy with the results. I have been working with Anu Kumar at EmbroidMe Sorrento Valley since 2013. She prints the running shirts for our annual team at the Triton 5K at UCSD. In 2013, we had a team of 50 people, and in 2016 we grew to 249 runners and walkers. The reason I have been able to recruit so many people is because the running shirts are simply awesome. Each year I have changed the shirt and logo colors, but Anu's insight on color schema, print sizing and placement make the shirts very attractive. Some people register to be on our team just for the shirt alone! Anu does quality work and I trust her opinions. This past year, Anu also created silicon bracelets in honor of a late staff member at work. I had no idea about print sizing or color and she took care of it all. Everyone at work was grieving, so it was nice Anu took charge for me.Further, Anu has generously donated 50 shirts for my personal fundraising project for Multiple Sclerosis. I'm a small business owner. I don't have 1000 employees and I don't spend a lot of money on embroidery. I only say that for understanding. Even though I'm not a big business with thousands of employees the staff at EmbroidMe  Mira Mesa treat me like I am. They spend just as much time with the little guy as they do with the corporate exec. Not only that, they take as much time as necessary to make sure your product is correct and to your liking. I went to EmbroiderMe years ago to have my daughters gymnastics team bags embroidered and they did a beautiful job!  I recently went back when I had a rush order to have shirts done for a fundraising event my daughter and I are both participating in.  Even though it was a small order, Anu made sure it was done before the event, and with the high quality work that they do! I recently completed a rush order at this location to have a blanket that I brought in embroidered by the end of the day for a close family friend that was in the hospital.  The employee who helped me provided excellent customer service and was helpful with picking out the color thread and font to make it a very nice personalized gift.  He also went out of his way to ensure that the order was complete by the end of the day so that I could  bring it with me to the hospital during my visit.  This level of customer service is hard to find nowadays so I  really appreciate him going the extra mile to help me  with this project.   If I ever need embroidery services again  I will definitely be returning to  this location because of the exceptional customer service, craftsmanship  and ensured job well done! We came acorss EmbroidMe on Yelp in search of a place to make shirts for our annual Breath of Life Walk in honor of our mother. Initially I spoke to Jeff (co-owner) on the phone, who was very friendly and helpful.  When I went to take our shirts in to be printed, I met Sandra (co-owner) who equally as helpful and such a delight to work with.  She seemed gentuinely interested in what we were doing and wanted to be sure we were happy with every aspect of the design.  The shirts turned out great and we will be back for future projects!  The only downside was the location, the first time I went I parked on the lower level and had to walk around.  It was kind of a confusing, but not a big deal. While other embroidery shop owners grumbled and balked at the lead time I gave them for a very small rush order, Anu and Dennis took on my job with "happy feet"and enthusiasm. They met and beat my deadline.  Their communication was great. Their work was outstanding. I recently went to Embroidme for embroidered baseball caps and silk screened T-shirts for employees of our shop.  They were able to work with a short lead time (less than 2 weeks)  and did a fantastic job on the shirts and hats.  It wasn't cheap, but it was not expensive either...you get what you pay for and this company does great work.  The entire experience was very extremely easy and I definitely plan on using them again. I work nearby and had no trouble finding the place. I placed my 1st order with Embroidme about 3 years ago. I have been a customer ever since. I have ordered everything from Badge Reels to Captains Chairs, Baseball Caps to Polo Shirts, Baby Blankets, Back Packs and Sweatshirts.  Some orders were large but I was also able to get single items done too. I recently did business with Anu at EmbroidMe for the first time, and believe me, I will be back!  Anu worked closely with me to create the exact design I wanted, she quickly did all the necessary set-up and within less than 10 days, I had my finished products.  And all of this during the week before Christmas... amazing!  The creativity, professionalism, enthusiasm, and top quality workmanship is well worth the drive to Mira Mesa from North County.  Both Anu and Ben are sincere and friendly people, with high standards.  For embroidery, silk-screening, and other personalization needs this is definitely the place to go!  And the costs are reasonable, too.  :)Bottom line.... A friend referred me to EmbroidMe Sorrento Valley. The first time I called and spoke to Anu, I knew I was in good hands. She helped me order quality polo shirts for my VP to hand out to customers. A few months later my VP asked me if I could get buttons made in 24 hours to take to a business meeting!?! We did not think it could be done, but I gave Anu a call to say I tried. She came thru! Custom  buttons in 24 hours! I went back for embroidered team backpacks. She helped me with team flip flops &  lawn chairs for a Luau. Last week , I asked for help with captains chairs and baseball caps to be ready in 7 days or less. Done! Seriously, Anu makes me look good to my management team.
