We are so thankful we had Liz as our photographer for our wedding out on Peaks Island. She was actually more than just our photographer, she provided us with general tips for our planning, such as a wedding day timeline, which we took and revised just a bit and made it our own. She was a voice of reason for us and provided great feedback on making the day our own. The communication via Zoom was great, she was able to understand what we wanted. The day of the ceremony we had no worriers that she wasn’t getting a picture we wanted, she helped us with the lead up to the ceremony to get all the getting ready and family shots done, then our couple shots, this freed us up to be with our friends and family after the ceremony. She was very organized and sent us sneak peak pics the next day, which was awesome to see some of her favs. The wedding book preparations were were as easy as they can be when you have 800 pictures to look at! We met while we were both living in China so for our wedding we were bringing together friends and family from all around the world and it was really important to us to throw a really great party!
After our first meeting with Liz, it was clear that she was on the same page and really understood what we were trying to do. She shared a similar approach for just good, fun, low-key weddings. From the first time we met Liz she got to know us really well. It was great to have developed a relationship so when she arrived at our wedding she didn't feel like a total stranger with a camera, we felt like we knew her already.
Liz gave off a calm vibe before and during the wedding which really helped us through planning and on the day itself. For our couples portraits she just let things flow naturally and took beautiful, candid photos. She can really capture unique moments and that is what happened for us on our wedding day. All the moments we wanted to be there were there. We just love looking back through our photos.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience of having my maternity photo shoot done by Elizabeth. From the start, she went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable from the location, to the dress I was wearing, etc. the location was perfect and gorgeous, and I surely was comfortable. I felt so beautiful that day, and Elizabeth's guidance was perfect! I have never done a photo shoot before, so I was nervous at first, however the minute I talked with Elizabeth the nerves were gone and I was sure I was working with a professional! What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Our relationship! I want us to video chat several times before your wedding day. The more comfortable we feel around each other- the easier our session will be. Think about it- your friends and family have probably captured some pretty wonderful candids of you in the past and that's because you were comfortable around them. If we build a friendship before we shoot- your images will be better.

What inspired you to start your own business?
Love. I have two children and I feel compelled to stop time with photography. When I realized how much joy I felt capturing a beautiful picture, I wanted to be able to give that joy to other people.
