I HIGHLY recommend Elite Obedience! Kenzie has been so great with my shepherd and has helped him so much! She uses a variety of different methods and makes sure to use the ones that suits your dog the best! My wife had taken our puppy Ruger to Kenzie when he was 13 weeks old and it was truly amazing what she was able to accomplish with such a puppy during the Puppy 101 classes. We then went straight into the basic obedience (6 week) class and the dog he has become and transformed into is absolutely amazing. I will recommend Elite Obedience to anyone who asks about dog training. We will continue now with the Canine Good Citizen Class and cannot wait for the results. Kenzie is an amazing young trainer. She has an amazing background and is great with any breed, age, or behavioral issues. I first took my Bernese Mountain dog to another facility in Des Moines, but their methods were too old fashioned that didn’t work for every dog . Kenzie was a great trainer to work with! I came to class with a dachshund who did not get a long well with other dogs and people and ended the class with him being able to sit in a room all by himself with several other dogs and only leave his spot by command. Any dog troubles, go to Kenzie!!

Kenzie is the absolute sweetest! I’ve taken many other training classes in the past, and in 1 class with her I learned so much more than what I learned in those other 3 classes! She really connects with the dogs, and wants what’s best from them. Really studies their specific behavior to see what works and what doesn’t. I had two Australian Shepherds when I first came to her, and my life was dramatically changed! I no longer dreaded going for walk because my arm was being pulled off! While training with Kenzie the boys have both completed their CGC and Trick Dog tests. Mowgli (1 of the 3) is also working towards his Rally & Obedience Novice titles. The other boys will start competing as well. I added a 3rd dog into the family, we adopted him from a family who could no longer keep him. He was 9 months old, so we didn’t get to start the training early in the puppy stage. He was a real hand full. After basic and ecollar with Kenzie he is a whole new dog!! He can now be trusted off leash and heals perfectly. Anytime I walk all three of my boys people will stop me and say “those are the best behaved dogs I’ve seen!” It’s such an amazing feeling to trust your dog 100% while out and about. I did not think I would get to where I am now. Dogs have always been a passion of mine, and to be able to work and compete with them is a huge blessing in my life. Not only did I get 3 well behaved dogs out of Kenzie, I also gained a friend! All in all, No dog is “too much” with the proper guidance Kenzie will get you where you need to be! More...
