This review is a little late, but I still felt the need to express my gratitude. After falling short on a few makeup artists for my big day, and one completely becoming unresponsive (even after she had been booked) Monica came to the rescue. Not only was she absolutely amazing, responsive and my hero, she travel from Syracuse to Rochester at the break of dawn in the rain to work her magic on me and my ladies. She worked fast, efficient and everyone looked gorgeous. Im beyond happy with her and her work from the beginning and our consultation all the way up to the day of. I'm not sure where to start when talking about Monica/Elite Beauty Studio. She was very prompt when I was first reaching out to make-up artists/hair stylists in the Syracuse area regarding my December 30th wedding. When I finally got to meet her, she's so warm and professional, very good about explaining services and finding out what my preferences for hair/makeup are. Our trial run was about 5 months prior to my wedding and I was 100% in love with it, never second-guessed anything we talked about or had planned on for day-of services. I did change my mind like the day before the wedding, deciding that I wanted airbrush instead of traditional makeup and she was totally cool with it. She brought herself and an assistant to my venue to get myself, my 7 bridesmaids, and my husband (ahh!) and my's mom's hair and makeup. Everyone had different ideas about what they wanted and she/her assistant made everyone very happy. Start time was early but everything leading up to our getting ready professional photos and first look was right on time. They were very pleasant and were great about keeping the wedding nerves down. I'm so happy with what I've seen so far of photographs. My hair was perfect! Her prices are very reasonable. I'll be singing her praises and recommending her to everyone I can and will be contacting her again if I ever need event makeup in the future. Thank you so much, Monica! More...
