Javier did an AMAZING job for our late employee appreciation event! He was able to read the crowd and played EXACTLY what was needed at that time! He took requests with ease, and handled my boss throwing in a curve ball with a raffle. The little music cues he played during was perfection and had us rolling in laughter! Everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves. His professionalism speaks volumes as well, he was quick to answer and and all my questions. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Reading the crowd and knowledge on a variety of Genres.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Adaptive. Able to adapt to any situation and understanding my Clients vision perfectly . No 2 clients are the same. Knowing that can make the difference from setting you apart from the rest.
Describe your creative process.
A build up. Start of slow and smooth and pick things up towards the end of the night. I sit back and read the crowd, reactions, and expressions of my clients guest. I take my time to see what gets people moving from the start of the event. so as the night progresses I've done my analysis and got a good idea where I can take things the rest of the night .
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
A short and sweet list of favorite songs, artist, and genres. A simple Guide.
What do you love most about your job?
The locations I get to go to, the different and wonderful people I get to meet every week. The constant challenges it brings forth. Almost every weekend I have to come up with a new recipe for a new client to make sure they have exactly what they need, that process is rewarding seeing the clients reaction after everything is said an done. Last but not least honestly our number one reason why we do what we do, Making people dance.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having creative freedom and control of how I wanna represent myself and the image I wanna set for my company. Being my own boss.
