I had such a great experience at Elements massage.The space itself is calming and relaxing, with lemon water, cozy chairs, and a water feature in the waiting area. The massage rooms are nothing out of this world, but they're clean and private and warm, and the beds are super comfortable. Also, there are Andes mints waiting for you when you arrive :) My experience with the staff was incredibly positive. They're friendly and professional. The comprehensive pre-massage forms clearly ask for consent for the therapists to touch specific parts of your body, no questions asked, and give you an opportunity to request extra attention on specific problem areas. My therapist (Joseph) is a straight-up magician. He's kind of a small guy so I was surprised to find that his pressure was strong and firm. He noticed that my neck had a ton of knots, and quickly shifted his position to target the source of the problem... my LOW back. The result was incredible. The whole process of making an appointment online and such is really simple and I appreciate that. Fiancé needed a massage, so I booked her one and she LOVED IT. Her massage was provided by Jacob. She said he was a very nice person and made her feel comfortable. She said it was one of the best massages she's gotten! I was able to pay with my debit card through the phone and even tip on my card, making the whole process easy as I didn't want my fiancé to have to worry about that after her massage. UPDATED: Elements called and offered for me to try a different therapist better tailored to what I was looking for. They paired me with a great therapist who knew exactly how to balance deep tissue and pressure points to relieve pain and get my body back to normal. I will absolutely be back - the massage was great and the customer service is equally great!Unfortunately a bit bummed at my experience here as I have been looking for somewhere I can get regular massages. My therapist worked hard, but it wasn't what I was looking for. I explained my pain and needed to get a massage for athletes so I can get back out there. This massage was more of a "feel good" spa than a treatment for athletes. It definitely felt good, but I didn't get my legs or neck worked like I wanted. Guess I'll keep looking! Changed rating because they reached out and were professional and I appreciate that.  I wish I could tell you if their services are good or not but I tried to book a massage online on the recommended app from their website.  Some time passed and then I received this message. Basically saying that they didn't want to take a 60 min massage and only wanted to book me if I did a 90 min massage. I don't see why they wouldn't offer another time slot or even on another day- but seemed like they had no interest in doing a 60 min massage at all. I understand there is not as much money in a 60 min- but I do tip well and it's all a mom, like I, can escape for.   Don't feel as if my business was valued.  And then also says they had another request for a 90 min before mine- so why wouldn't they just accept that instead were saying "unless I wanted to make it 90 mins..." lol what Why wouldn't you just offer me another time .... just seemed like they were just trying to upsell and then that isn't very fair to the other request if there even was one.     So, no thanks- I will find somewhere else lol More...

I had earlier posted a not-so-glowing review of Elements but decided to give it another try after I got a 60 minute gift card for Christmas.  The experience was excellent.  They were able to get me in within a few days and kept my massage appointment even when the therapist I had booked got sick.  They brought Craig in to do the massage on Sunday instead when he normally works Mondays. The massage was fantastic and exactly what I needed.  I will be back and hopefully can book Craig again. More...

Landed from a flight with lower back pain and searched for a deep tissue place. When I called in to make an appointment, they suggested Jared for high intensity (deep tissue) work. It was a great suggestion. I am used to seeing a great guy in California so my bad is quite high. Jared was really good and made an impact from the first session. I went here regularly to see Shala (before she moved), and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the front desk staff, the facilities, and the overall atmosphere. I had another massage with a different therapist recently as well, and it was just as amazing.I also want to praise their membership program. Ok the only reason I took so long to post this is because I want to make sure Aaron at Elements would be available for my massages, but that's just selfish. Aaron is amazzzzzzzing. You will thank me if you read this review and book Aaron. I started going to Arron when I was pregnant and was hooked from there. My husband who works in athletics and has had hundreds of massages reluctantly went to him( weirdness about a male) but I talked him into it, he was blown away and now only books with Aaron. I've been to this location twice. I was lucky enough to get Jared the first time. I usually go for a deep deep tissue. Jared took the time to talk to me and find out my main concerns. Obviously I scheduled with Jared for the second time too. He is very thorough and skilled and has extremely strong hands. Overall, the location is nice and relaxing. Chris H. is incredible! I had my first 90 minute massage today with him. He is very experienced with deep tissue sports massage techniques. I have some slightly torn cartilage in my right hip joint from years of competitive track running that causes tightness and pain down my entire leg. The work he did on my right leg helped me tremendously! I will use him regularly going forward. Jarrod is amazing! I've been going to get massages from him at Elements. Been here twice. First time was amazing. Both my brother and I walked out of there saying it was the best feeling massage we'd ever had. Second time through, very different experience.. I would have to say, it was the worst feeling massage I'd ever had. We were put in the same room and when we were done..we looked over at each other and laughed. What the heck was that. Had a great experience here with Ariana as my therapist, one of the best massages I have ever had. I have tension often in my shoulders and she was able to relieve it expertly, would highly recommend her. Also Alexis at the front desk was very courteous and helped me get set up with a membership and scheduling for the future. Would recommend a longer session as opposed a shorter one. Will be back! Desiree ROCKS at deep tissue massage and is hands down the best massage therapist I've ever seen. She has very strong hands and works on horses too! Book with her and your life will be changed. She has helped me a lot with my torn psoas, and can dig in like no other massage therapist has, but she also checks in with you to make sure the pressure and technique feel okay and are what you want. She is incredibly sweet and always has a positive attitude, but most importantly you can tell she really cares, and clearly loves what she does. She is incredibly knowledgable about sports medicine as well, I've asked her for some tips and seen great improvement in my range of motion, and pain. I'll never see anyone else. I came in about 1 week post op from surgery and asked for flexibility to accommodate limited positions on the table.  The manager was kind and willing to try anything that might work. The attitude was completely different from my call to the Pro Club which was met with confusion, coldness and an offer to call me in a few days when they knew what to do with the request.  Elements set up a chair and a special table in the room so there were options for multiple positions ready to go. Rodney was my therapist.  He gave me a great massage with light pressure as requested and focused on the areas that needed help.  Overall it was a great experience and went much better than expected given my fear of being uncomfortable.  I'll be back for sure. I wasn't really impressed with the massage I had at the last place I visited in San Rafael so I decided to give Elements a try.  I was greeted at the front desk by Ivy who was friendly and professional. My massage was done by Craig whom I was very impressed with.  Not only was the massage a very good one but he met me outside when I was done with a bottle of water in hand and recommendations for exercises to help my ailing right shoulder.  I was checked out by Matthew who was polite and very helpful when I decided to become a member. It's really tough to find a place where you can get a good massage. Even the most luxurious of spas don't guarantee a great massage. It all depends on the masseuse you get. I have had great luck at elements getting masseuses who understand your needs and actually aim their treatments to what you've told them you need. I really love this place! I've worked with three different massage therapists and they have all been very high quality.  My favorite current massage therapist is Kellie - it's like she knew exactly when to apply the pressure and exactly when to pull back without me saying much at all.  I did their membership program for a while and it was a great deal if you plan to visit monthly.  There are no long-term commitments or additional fees, you simply get one massage per month pulled from your account to use at a discounted rate and can cancel anytime. I miss my monthly massages and may re-up my membership after some of my other life expenses settle down.My only caveat as others mentioned is that your 60-minute massage really turns into about 50 because they include 10 minutes to change into the hour-long session. I know this is standard for many places, but it is disappointing when I can wear comfy sweats and be ready for my massage within a minute or two to have that cut into my time. More...

Kind, efficient front desk staff. Reasonable prices, particularly for the Eastside. Lots of free parking and availability with the massage therapists. (I did have a little trouble getting a 90 minute massage booked within the next few days, so I opted for the 60, so maybe plan ahead for an extended session.)
