I am writing a long overdue review for Elegant & Modern Designs. I have used this company twice now, one for my baby shower and just recently for my baby's 1st birthday party. Both times these ladies went above & beyond my expectations. I told them my vision and they made it come to life and made it even better. They honestly have a true talent for design and decorating. Both times I received so many compliments from my guests. Not to mention, everything in both events was so seamless they came to set up and test down. I hired Elegant & Modern Designs as my go to for my big (and I mean BIG  with 200 people) Wedding celebration!! Michelle and Eimee did a fantastic job, leaving me to be calm, collected, and present! If I ever plan another event (big or small... can we say anniversary or birthday parties?), I plan to hire them again and again and again! Professional, thoughtful, & smart. Absolutely nailed executing my design for our daughter's wedding!!! Elegant and Modern helped to shape my imagination and worked with me all hours of the day and night with complete professionalism! Michelle (the "M" of "E&M") also filled my need for an Event Florist, making beautiful and unique arrangements. And most recently, Eimee (the "E" of "E&M") did the MOST DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFUL fleur-de-lis cakepops in black and Gold (New Orleans Saints) for a very special surprise celebration!!Work with these ladies...you won't be disappointed!! We celebrated our daughter's 7th b-day on 4-29-17 at Knabe Regional Park in Cerritos. Selecting a bakery for our Cake & Desserts was something that we kept pushing to the bottom of our to-do list. I knew it was going to be costly and didn't have a clear direction of what kind of desserts we wanted so the process seemed overwhelming. Once we reached out to Eimee at Elegant & Modern, it was a done deal. From the start, their customer service was beyond excellent. They answered all my calls and responded to all my text messages. When I showed them the cake my wife and I had in mind, they were enthusiastic at the challenge to replicate the theme of My Little Pony. Upon receiving the cake on time, we were astonished with the detailed craftsmanship. The cake was such a work of art and it was delicious. Everyone at our party had wonderful comments to say. 5 stars doesn't do justice on how amazing Elegant & Modern is. We will continue to use them for future functions. Elegant Modern was amazing! They were super great and responsive and accomodating to my wedding needs. Although I planned most of my wedding, I hired them for my day-of coordination and they did such an organized lovely job making sure my day went smoothly!
