We are still getting raving reviews about Elegancia Entertainment as well as our Master of Ceremonies, Kelvin. We met with Kelvin, the owner of Elegancia, about two months after we booked with Jericho Terrace. We hit it off right off the bat. Kelvin is beyond understanding of just how important your wedding day is but everything that leads up to it. He helped with so many details, ideas, musical notes, you name it, he suggested it. We also loved his personality. He was caring, straight forward, experienced, friendly and really became a part of the family. When it came to choosing music, Kelvin was in our living room hand picking each of the songs we had trouble picking. He helped with arrangements, picking the best setup for the bridal party, all from our living room. This is what I can true service. He doesn’t look at you as a client but family and knows how important this day is to a bride and groom. When we got to the big day, Kelvin was there by our side throughout the entire evening, grabbing drinks, making sure we were happy, making sure we loved all the music Matt his DJ was playing, everything. He was by far my favorite vendor and I will continue to keep in touch with him as he is now family to us. His DJ, Matt, was amazing as well. He reads the crowds and knows what is the best renditions to play. We have nothing but glorifying remarks for Kelvin, Matt and the entire Elegancia team. We also had a “crazy hour” and Kelvin pulled everything out of his vault for this one! We had a stilt walker and a giant 8 foot dancing robot. Definitely a fantastic edition to our night’s festivities. My husband and I were on the dance floor all night and we are still watching tons of videos our friends sent to us of the epic evening. Let’s not forget the Zapshot photographer! He was able to capture all the moments throughout the reception and then some. I was so happy to see everyone having an amazing time and Elegancia Entertainment helped make it possible. Let me also mention, they will help keep you in budget, will always be in touch and honestly, being friends with a great company like this is always a plus. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for entertainment for their wedding or any other event in their future. A plus plus plus in my book!! More...

I got married two weeks ago and used Elegancia and they were AMAZING! I primarily dealt with Kelvin, who was very easy to work with and was very accommodating when scheduling appointments. On the day of the wedding Carlos was our dj and he was nothing less than awesome! Many of the guests are still telling us how great he was I would highly recommend using Elegancia. More...

When looking for wedding vendors, I attended a bridal showcase at Jericho Terrace where Elegancia Entertainment was a recommended service. They also showcased their style of entertainment during the event. Their energy was infectious and their choice of music was right up my alley. Elegancia Ent. was my first choice and I'm glad I stuck with them. Our MC was Kelvin. He was very easy to communicate with and did an amazing job at hyping up our guests. DJ Matt was in charge of the music and he really knew how to read the crowd. Our guests ranged from young to old and every ethnicity you could think of. By the end of the night everyone was expressing how much fun they had. We received a lot of positive feedback from the guests and my husband and I can support it! Elegancia Entertainment was absolutely wonderful!! Jericho Terrace referred them as they specialize in multicultural events and we couldn't have been more happy with our choice! ! Jose was professional and his prices were competitive. I was looking for a basic DJ and MC but he was way more than I expected. He had an awesome light show that he offered...lets just say my husband was drooling after that presentation and I had no choice but to say ok. We put the deposit down right away!!! We met a few days before the wedding to finalize the list of music and of course I was overprepared with 5 pages of music haha. But it was so comforting to know that he was familiar with a majority of the music. We were very worried that we wouldnt be able to find a DJ that could properly mix American, Carribbean and Spanish music. They did that and more. My wedding has been over 2 months ago and I still get calls about the DJ. They truly made the wedding and set the tone. The floor was literally jumping towards the end of the night!!! If only I could go back to that day!!! Jose even helped with non-DJ responsibilities...even just asking how everything was going!! Our style is a reflection of the current event. We are versatile and always learning trends, music, culture. We are most definitely high-energy, elegant and professional, yet we know how to party!
What do you love most about your job?
Being a part of the memory. There is nothing like getting a call years later and hearing "people still talk about my wedding." For some, the events that they do are one of.... (many), our focus is on making your one event, the most memorable that you will ever have.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Realizing that there is a lack of representation in the cultural wedding and events community, we are creating a brand that embrace culture and individuality. When you look at the bridal websites and social media, you see all the same look and style. What about all of the amazing cultures this world has to offer. They are the majority and we are all unique. No event should be like the other. Our mission is to bring culture and diversity back into the wedding and events world.
