We are new to the area and are having fun finding new places to go and new experiences to have. We stumbled upon El Paso one Monday since the other restaurants were closed. We’re thankful they were! We thoroughly enjoyed our food and service. My mom has Alzheimer’s and though she kept asking our waitress, Lidia, the same question over and over again, and though my mom kept speaking broken Spanglish, our waitress was pleasant and kind. Honestly was disappointed. We walked in and waited quite a while to even be acknowledged in an almost empty restaurant. Then we were greeted by two very frantic employees who went back and forth with each other for what seemed like minutes about where we need to go. we were finally directed to our table by simply him pointing and saying “you, there” to the table across the room. Then he very rudely said to the couple behind us “two? Here.” As he took two menus and threw them at the table next to the hostess stand. Amazing service. Our waitress stayed on top of everything and food was brought to us very fast. Everything was great temperature. We got the 2 for 1 drinks and they definitely didn't hold back on the tequila. The prices were not exactly low but in my own personal experience with many types of restaurants it wasn't extremely. My husband and I spent $60 which included an appetizer, 2 simple meals, 2 cokes and 4 total drinks that was during happy hour (2 for 1). Five of my friends and I waited over an hour for a table. They finally decided to sit us at a table fit for only 4. We requested a bigger table so that we could eat comfortably, but they said that it would be another wait. We didn’t mind because we didn’t want to be so close together. As soon as we got up from the table, they decided to sit another party of 6 at the same table. Instead of making them cramp up at one table, the server added the table next to it so that they could sit comfortably. I asked how they could combine their table but could not do that for us. The server simply said he didn’t know. I watched the server explain the situation to the manager where he proceeded to say “oh well I don’t care” . I asked the manager the same question he said that he didn’t care because they are the best here. 0/10 do not recommend! More...

My experience from last night. I'm highly disappointed in the serivce we received from our waitress. She was more interested in taking care of the younger customers than us. My family felt rushed for our entire dinner. We came here because we had prior great experiences. We didn't receive chips and beans in the beginning. Our waitress didn't ask for add ons. Just walked off. Finally our food came & my order was wrong. Oh, and the chips and beans came after we asked the guy who brought our food out for them. Our waitress came back a bit later and had my order corrected. At the end of our meal, our waitress took our food while we were still eating. On our ticket our waitress tried charging for the rice and beans from her prior mess up; a $5 charge! We corrected her and she got angry because she messed up. This was not a great experience. I will no longer recommend this place anymore as your waitress felt it was ok to remove food from my table while we were still eating! More...

This place is fantastic. The food is so fresh and different than the typical Mexican restaurants. It’s an updated menu. Lots to choose from. The only thing I would ding them on is the cake. :/ Both slices looked amazing but tasted and smelled like mold. My husband tried it also and said the same. Maybe it’s just that type of cake.
