Ate out for the first time since late February today at El Paso in Centreville. The patio was quiet and they had the tables at least 6 feet apart. Service was kind and all wore masks. I was pleasantly surprised to see this long-awaited grand opening in the midst of the pandemic. I had to give them a shot. I walked in to a clean and modern restaurant, and was well received by a kind faced man in a mask . I took a look at their menu, placed my order and was quoted 25 mins—it was a Friday night and they seemed quite busy for a new place. There were social distancing cues and signs all over the place. I ordered enchiladas verdes and 4 different tacos. I put a timer out for 20 mins and headed to my car to wait. My order was up by the time the timer went off. When I came home, chips and salsa were added as well as as a green and red sauce for tacos. My tacos came with a side of grilled jalapeño and onions, sliced radish and limes. I ordered chorizo, barbacoa, al pastor and asada. The chorizo was my favorite—but they tend to be. The enchiladas were nice and light, served with rice and beans. I will definitely be back. Appreciate the courteous staff and excellent observance of social distancing. Pro tip: Snack on your chips and salsa while you warm up your dishes at home. More...

Recently opened in centreville and we were in the mood for tacos. My husband ordered but they either gave us the wrong tacos or there was a miscommunication over the phone. We got home and realized we received carnitas tacos instead of asada. Although good the tacos were on the smaller side more like a street taco then a restaurant taco. So order more if you’re hungry. Jose and his staff have been serving our family for more than 20 years! El Paso (Springfield) has always been our go-to Mexican restaurant. We now live in Centreville, and so we are just thrilled they have a location here now! Ordered food and margaritas on their opening day and I have to say, the food was almost better than its ever been. It was absolutely delicious and the frozen margaritas were just what we needed!
