This place was great. The food was incredible and the staff was nice. We had the queso frita, empanadas (cheese, chicken and beef), churasco Moro go and res frita. I'm originally from Miami and this was just as good as back home. I would highly recommend this place!!! More...

Heard about this new spot on IG and just HAD to check this place out. Im half PR & MX and I grew up in Miami and Im not lying when I say they got authentic carribean food. I mean they even got the name right, "El Caldero". We needed a place like this badly for our growing Dominican, PR and Cuban community. Being that it was my first trip I went for "take out" cause I had someplace to be and i didn't want to miss out on trying it out. They have dine-in seating, takeout and for you homebodies they're signed up with DoorDash. You can either order from their food bar (quintessential carribean style) or you can order from the menu. I went for the basics and ordered the Pollo guisado (chicken stew), arroz con abichuelas (rice and beans) from the food bar cause if they get the basics right then you know they're on to something! I also bought a single portion of the lechón (roast pork) just to try it out and let me tell you it was tender, juicy and amazing...I literally shed a tear lol. The staff were nice and the place is clean and nicely decorated. The full bar is ready to go but They don't have their liquor license yet but you know how that is, it takes time for a new restaurant to get the paperwork finalized for that so I'm sure they will have it soon.  They are new so they will have growing pains but trust me, don't sleep on this place, the food here is worth giving them a try cause I will DEFINITELY be back!!
