These guys are top of the line! My driver yesterday was Simon. He was very professional, on time, and very helpful. They are open when all other shuttles are closed for the corona virus. The van was impeccably clean and is sanitized after each pickup. Simon had me place my bag down and then backup so we retained social distancing before he loaded it. I decided to take a transport to and from DIA to Longmont. Â This was the 2nd trip to Longmont for me, with the first trip resulting in a fear-inducing taxi ride with a driver whose speed average 90 mph (not exaggerating) and frequently checking text messages, even after I asked him to stop. Â I decided to try a different option and found Eight Black. Â I enjoyed the ease of booking and the information on where to meet the shuttle, and text confirmation information. Â I had just a short wait in the pick up area, which afforded me plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful view. Â Two young men arrived in a pretty lux Mercedes SUV, with bottled water awaiting. Â I was the only occupant and while it can sometimes be uncomfortable making conversation, this was not the case. Â The two young men were pleasantly quiet, engaging in conversation when I did, but not having a conversation between the two of them. Â The drive was quick, safe and courteous. Â The return trip was just as pleasant; the driver was right on time, loaded my bags, and off we went. Â There were two gentlemen already in the backseat engaged in conversation, and again, the driver did not drill me with questions, but pleasantly chatted when I initiated. Â Being a bit of a control freak, I don't like being a passenger with unfamiliar drivers. Â Both trips, however, I felt relaxed and comfortable; both drivers drove well. Simon picked me up on time for a trip from Denver Airport to Longmont. Nice conversation, but not more conversation than a tired traveler wants. Just enough. After a three-day photo shoot, I was picked up by Simon's son Campbell for a return trip to Denver Airport. The Sprinter van was immaculate both times and the service also included a bottle of water.
