I had a great experience working with Steven. We did a self-hypnosis class. I'm still reaping the benefits of greater focus and self-improvement. And it's not just those reasons, I actually used the self-hypnosis ability to immediately reduce the pain from a sprained ankle. I was out camping with friends and hurt my ankle walking back to camp. I could hardly walk back to camp. After about twenty minutes back at camp, I remembered I could hypnotize myself. And I did to make the pain go away. 3 months of therapy and a lifetime of being ALIVE! Steve is very open, kind, gentle and creates a safe haven where shame, judgement and blame do not exist. Hypnosis may sound weird or even crazy, but let me be the first to tell you of it's effectiveness. He creates a mental Utopia, which  allows you to transform your mind, always bringing forth solutions to any problem. When I first began going to Steve it was because I was self- sabotaging, smoking, drinking and partying all the time ( I lost myself for a minute there...ooops) and blaming the world around me for my unhappiness. Then I fell into a deep depression, still reacting, not even realizing why I was randomly crying and treating those around me as enemies.I sought Steve because his door and services were always available to me prior to becoming his client. I would just attend and participate in his hypnosis sessions and shows because I was intrigued by this awesome tactic. Through an effective step-by-step process, Steve created a concrete plan. When I was more severe in the depression I saw him weekly, then bi-weekly, then monthly. He's like a personal trainer for the mind, like a life coach. But he's more than that! He's a counselor but feels like you're venting to your best friend. The transformation of who I once was to the woman I now am is unbelievable and Steve was there to help me ease into the transition and lean on myself. What I love most about Steve is that he gives you room to grow and have your own approach to things as well as suggesting. He has the perfect balance of knowing when to give you a suggestion and when to make you give yourself the suggestion. He's not like other counselors where he wants you to be dependent. Steve wants you to be quite the opposite and desires for you to be independent. Steve gives you the tools to begin teaching yourself so that you can teach yourself. Hypnosis with Steve is effective and to the point. He attacks the real issues that you didn't even know existed from childhood, instead of playing guessing games. Anyways, Steve didn't take me to see the light at the end of the tunnel, he made me realize that I was the light! Needless to say, I don't smoke, I drink in moderation when I'm not training for races and I'm living my best life, without all the parties!
