I came here with a large party for my birthday and it was perfect. Definitely a great place for groups and Mediterranean food! ! They have a set menu thurs-Sunday where you pay $35 per person for a plethora of  appetizers and entrees, such a great deal. They bring more than enough food--which by the way is delicious!! They have a nice large outdoor patio area where there are people smoking hookah which  at first I was concerned about having to eat where people are smoking but there was plenty of space to where that was not really an issue. I love this place, the staff feels like family. Everyone is so warm and loving and always attentive and accommodating. We also order takeout pretty often and we have never been disappointed. The history of the old part in the outside dining area was once an old livery stable as stated by a employee.The outstanding lavish dining area outside makes for a warm comfortable relaxing atmosphere and an enjoyable experience feasting on a gourmet dinner of kabobs, hummus and many other dishes Their beef kabobs cooked medium were astounding and cooked to perfection. Best service ever!Some friends and I were looking for a place to grab dinner before heading back home and decided to eat here. They had just had a very large party leave the restaurant and they were still cleaning as this party literally took up the entire main room plus much of the outside. They were SO apologetic for the wait. Which was only about 5 minutes. They hastily set up a clean table with fresh linens and our waitress was professional and very friendly. The owner or manager came and asked if we had any questions and enthusiasm for their food and knowledge was incredibly valuable. We ordered the Salmon, lamb shank and kabobs. The lamb and Kabobs were beyond excellent and the salmon was also good. This place was very good despite feeling like no one ever eats there.  I walked in and there were no customers and only had one or two later in the evening (though we were only there for about 2 hours).  The service was good and the people were very friendly.  Drinks were great and they have a few special cocktails.  The hummus was Amazing and had whole garbanzos with olive oil on top.  The pita tasted pretty standard.  I had chicken shawarma which was very good, very tender with a touch of char for flavor.  My friend enjoyed the lamb kabob. We had dinner last night with friends. Our first time there, and we were very pleased with both food and service. The staff and management made us feel like we were regulars. Food was quite good and flavor was authentic (I worked in the Middle East for 5 years and have a comparison, at least for my taste). I would definitely return . . . However - It is a hookah lounge so all tables in the patio are exposed. The manager, staff, and valet are friendly and treat us like family when we come. The food is consistently very good, we particularly enjoy the mixed grill to get a sample of multiple things. My bf & I went to Eden Cafe first timers .. and I'm glad to say that for our first time trying the food was really good! The flavor was just amazing & we both really enjoyed it !!! Also our waiter who helped us pick what to order was REALLY HELPFUL & NICE!! Give the restaurant & him a 100/100 star rating ! Really friendly customer service! Came here for a private event and I was blown away by the food. I realize you can get Mediterranean food at most places, but they had some new things I'd never even heard of and the familiar items just had a wonderful taste. We started off with an appetizer of pickled radishes and olives. Then there was a trio of baba ghanoush, tzatziki, and hummus served with pitas. The dips were amazing, light, creamy, not heavy at all. Tabbouli was next, perfectly green and lemony. Next hot appetizers included an egg roll type filled with melted cheese, falafel and a falafel type thing with ground beef. This was by far my favorite. It was so crispy on the outside and the meat was really flavorful. There was a spicy nut spread as well but I don't know the name. Last, rice, kabob, filet and chicken pieces. Not dry, perfectly cooked, still juicy. I was stuffed. I came here with my friends and family for a birthday had a blast except for the blonde photographer walking around taking pictures. When my sister had the pictures in her hand she was about to take a picture off her cell phone and instead of this blonde crazy lady telling her politely "Hey you can't do that" she instead rudely reached over the table snatched the picture out of her hand and said what do you think you're doing you can't take pictures of them. This is my favorite Middle Eastern restaurant and I have been going there for around 20 years. Food is always excellent, and consistent. Restroom clean hence kitchen is too. Manager Ann always come and check on everybody. Our waiter Tariq was a sweetheart working endlessly and selflessly to make sure all of my 40 guests are happy. Amazing, excellent, 10/10.I didn't grow up around Middle Eastern food but Eden's is the real deal. With a location here and in Pasadena the family-run and owned place is like visiting my Mediterranean grandmother's house. (If I had them.) The meals are experiences where eating is meant to be taken slowly and with care. Some of my favorites include the hummus and their take on cheese sticks. The chicken is juicy full of flavor. We've been coming here for a few years now, and we love the food, and the atmosphere. Everything we order is always fresh and delicious. Even though I am not a big hookah fan, the flavors they offer are nice, and go great with the food. The reason for my 4 star rating is for the parking situation. I came in there last Thursday with my family for dinner, and in order to park in their lot, is you have to valet your car. If you don't valet your car you park it in the surrounding areas. The valet attendant was really nice, and opened the doors for me and my family. But after I got in my car, I noticed that my radio stations were different, not only were they changed, but they were programed to different stations. I thought this was really weird. Music was great, but too loud in my opinion. They have a great belly dancer who comes on at 10. The sucky part is that people start dancing after the belly dancer leaves, around 11pm. Last night we had our son's rehearsal dinner here and we and our guests were extremely pleased with the service and food. We were a party of 38 people, and were accommodated in every way . The dinner consisted of 12 hot and cold appetizers followed by kebab dinner followed by desert. Tarek the manager saw that everything was perfectly executed. I finally visited Eden with a large party.  Alas, nothing changed the raw kiddeh was spicy, the outside of the fried kidder was crunchy but no kibbeh flavor, and lastly and most disappointedly the rice.   I can forgive most weaknesses but rice! NO; this only means they are not even trying or caring.  Another surprise was how sparse the tables were filled on a Friday night, I wonder if the food/cook had anything to do with it.  Service continues to be excellent, and the restaurant set up is great, but frankly I can no longer blindly recommend this place with no reservations.  This reminds me of the first such restaurant that opened years ago in La Verne "Grapevine"; it started strong and the middle eastern food was excellent, then I witnessed a consistent decline in the food quality until the business folded.  Regrettably    based on my last visit to eden garden I must remove one star for a four star  rating.  at least fix the rice !! I wanted to eat outdoors and I remembered they have this huge patio. Bonus is this place serves Mediterranean cuisine which is great for family-style sharing. The mezze appetizer is an abundance of food and very tasty with lots of warm pita. My favorite included the kibbeh, cheese, and yogurt dip.If you have room in your stomach after all of those appetizers (and I highly recommend the platter for first time visits and groups), there is a great selection of kabobs. I think just about every Lebanese dish is served here and it will taste good. While it was on the menu, the restaurant being "out" of knaffe was really a bummer. We tried an alternate dessert which I am sure was authentic, but it wasn't the same. Sad face.The patio is large and be sure to let host know if you preder not to be around smoke since this is prime hookah real estate and there isn't a non-hookah section. More...
