I recently had an amazing lunch from Eclectic Eats in preparation of their catering/lunch delivery program that they're rolling out and the food was amazing. I've also attended a private event at Eclectic Eats and the food was phenomenal then too. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. It's such a unique venue for private events - thank you for the memorable experiences! Highly recommend! More...

I enjoyed my meal here.  We used a $35 for $25 Yelp deal for dinner.  The place is next to what seems to be an antique shop in a very old building.  They have outside seating as well as inside.  I would have liked to eat outside but it was boiling out.  Unfortunately, it was warm inside as well because the wall unit A/C wasn't very powerful, it's still a relatively minor complaint. There are several inside tables and couches to choose from. Our server was very helpful and friendly.  We started out with "The Hummus" which was a deliciously creamy homemade bowl of hummus topped with seasoned lamb and pine nuts, served with pita triangles.  It was really delish. For our mains we ordered the roast lamb and the shawarma infused.  My lamb was very tasty but a tad dry.  It was served with a variety of lovely vegetables and herbs from the restaurant's outside garden.  It was a wonderful combination of salty and sweet between the mashed yam, cranberries, gorgonzola cheese and zaatar vinaigrette. My husband's shawarma infused, while good, had one slight problem - it tasted exactly like the lamb the hummus was topped with that we had for our appetizer.  So I'd suggest that if you order the hummus with lamb, go for a different entree. Our server was nice enough to give a a complimentary dessert in a cute little shot glass consisting of whipped cream, pomegranate juice and freshly grated hazelnut.  It was a light and refreshing way to end the meal. This establishment also has a separate vegetarian menu, and I have the feeling once the weather cools off I will want to revisit and sit outside in the garden. Fantastic find.  Very easy not to see from the road.  We came using a birthday comp.com.  So glad we tried it.  Our waiter was so pleasant.  And they surprised us with a complementary dessert shot since it was our first visit.  They even have a separate veg/vegan menu.  It was a hot Sunday evening, so we ate inside, but the inside seating area is small.  Looking forward to going back again and trying the outside ambiance. ATMOSPHEREIn one word... Cozy.  The entire restaurant is outdoor (no indoor seating) so probably not a great option on a rainy night.  Half the restaurant is covered with pavers and the other half is natural grass, giving it quite a "Backyard" feel.  There are two types of seating... Comfy Wicker Couches or Iron Patio tables with Umbrellas overhead and there is a steady stream of Loungy Mood Music (Think "The XX" or Mellow Middle Eastern music).  The lighting is also very soft, making it a great place to enjoy a flavored coal from their Hookah menu. UPDATE: (They do have indoor seating!)SERVICEWe were served by Joel, a cousin of the Owner/Chef.  He was as pleasant a human being as you will ever meet and was very eager to share the story of the Chef and their restaurant.  Our food/drinks came out very quickly and he regularly checked on us to see if we were ok. The check was a little slow, however, this might be cultural as most Middle Easterners take their time and enjoy long conversation after their meal. Most of the other diners were clearly enjoying themselves well past dinner and our server encouraged us to stay as long as we liked. Definitely welcoming.MENUMostly Mediterranean fare, including several Vegan options, but there are plenty of other options for meat eaters like myself.  Prices are not cheap, but very reasonable for Delray.  Some of their non-alcoholic flavored drinks are $7-12, which seemed a bit high for me. Overall there are enough unique and appealing options to warrant several trips back. Also, that night they were not serving liquor due to licensing issues.  You may ask to bring your own if they are still having issues.QUALITY OF FOODWhen I asked how the "Eclectic" Hummus was, the cheerful Server smiled and promised it would be the best we'd ever had. And it easily was!  We also had the Grape Leaves which were equally as incredible.  Unfortunately, these two appetizers were all we had room for, however, given the onsite Herb Garden and freshness of all their ingredients (including the pitas), I am confident the rest of the food will be equally satisfying.OVERALLOverall it was a great experience and we look forward to our return.  We will definitely recommend to our friends as a romantic, intimate date night, or something unique for out of town guests after a long exhausting day at the beach. My mom and I went here after looking up various places to eat near Palm Beach. This place was so adorable when we first walked in. It was very different, with antiques spread all over the lawn and couches where you can lounge and dine. The menu was delicious. My mom had the lamb rolled with blue cheese, pomegranates, and nuts and I had the chicken skewers. We also both shared a mango slush, babaganoush, and a slice of key lime pie. Everything was SO delicious, with fresh herbs picked from their garden used in the food. The key lime pie was, honestly, my favorite thing. It was a thick and flavorful mousse and covered with pomegranate seeds and nuts. So delicious. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who wants something a little different. More...

My new favorite restaurant in Delray Beach!!We have been here twice now and everything is delicious! We got the VEGETARIAN PLATTER - An Eclectic Combination Of Grape Leaves, Hummus Dip, Baba Ghanoush, & Falafel Balls, both times as an appetizer. My favorite entree is the MEDALLION INFUSED - Baked Slices Of Angus Beef Infused With Lamb Marinated With Mediterranean Spices, Onions, Pomegranate Molasses, Served With Tahini Sauce, Basmati Rice & Grilled Mixed Vegetables. I have also had the mixed grill, the lamb, the tuna tartar, the kafta was great too! Anyhow try it out you'll love it. Oh and you should sign up for BirthdayComp.com and get free gifts from local businesses on your birthday! More...
