Ben is great. It's hard to find a martial arts coach with his knowledge and no ego.  He's perfect for all levels.  Whether you want to learn how to actually fight, or just get the body moving.

I first met Coach Ben with the intention of casually learning martial arts. Working with him changed my life completely. I became focused on achieving the athletic lifestyle-- changing my diet, hitting the gym, and regularly attending classes. I dropped 15 pounds and became mentally healthy, all while following advice from Ben. One day I decided I wanted to go way out of my comfort zone and train to be a professional wrestler. I pitched the idea to Ben knowing he was more of a Muay Thai & Yoga instructor, but he enthusiastically took on the challenge. Every week I came to him with something different--tumbling, shoot wrestling, building up new muscles, all while keeping Muay Thai in play--every week he helped me fly through my goals & gave me gym and diet plans to experiment with. It's been about three years since I started that journey and I am now a wrestler in training AND a professional referee that is regularly on tv. I do full yoga every day, hit the gym 3-4 times a week and have developed my own style of Muay Thai. I'm mentally and physically healthier than ever, a confident athlete and literally doing what I set out to do because Ben has been in my corner and steering me upwards the whole time. All this is to say--you can achieve your wildest athletic dreams and have the body and lifestyle you want if you put your trust in Coach Ben and follow his guidance. Ben is THE BEST. I've been training with him weekly for over two years now -- first in person, then over Zoom, now a combination of both. I was in terrible shape and hated all forms of cardio exercise when we first met, and now I look forward to every session with him. He has the most contagious spirit -- so positive, so hilarious, so thoughtful -- and I love that he can instantly pivot from an intense boxing and calisthenics session to an advanced yoga flow. Ben got me into the best shape of my life. If you're looking for a thoughtful, patient and all-around incredible personal trainer, there is no better option in LA. Ben and I train 3x a week and I've never had a better workout. He's somehow able to seamlessly weave boxing, yoga, and muay thai all into a comprehensive training program. Ben has the ability to explain complex concepts simply, so even though I was just trying to lose a few lbs, I was able to pick up actual combat sports techniques in a really short period of time. Most importantly he makes the sessions fun, so they're always something to look forward to. I seriously can't recommend Ben enough. More...

I've found my training spot :)I get really self conscious at the gym, so I really wanted to find a private training space where I could feel comfy. I am still working from home, sitting on my computer all day and I just wanted to move my body for an hour 3 times a week - I was open to push ups, weights, yoga, whatever. After a few weeks, I asked if we could try a little boxing and now I'm obsessed.  Hitting the heavy bag feels incredible.   Ben is incredibly encouraging and his way of breaking down technique kind of blows my mind.
