Awesome restaurant with amazing (and quite funny) owners. I have heard nothing but amazing reviews about their food and service. My family is in town for thanksgiving and we prefer to spend as much time as possible together during the short time they are here, so we decided to cut the pie making out of the menu and explore having early baker make them. We stopped in and Adam (the owner) was super kind and treated us to deserts. The deserts were awesome. My family was truly amazed. They are open and baking fresh pies until 2pm on Thanksgiving. I am sure they will make them better then I would anyway and I'm super excited that they will be fresh as well. Please support this local restaurant. EarlyBaker was able to accommodate my daughters special request for a banana crepe birthday cake. They were able to make it happen and it was a huge hit, absolutely delicious! She was thrilled. Adam is kind and helpful and even followed up to make sure we were happy with the cake. We've also stopped by to pick up treats, all of which have been amazing. Home of the Real Croissant! A local spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Popular for their bake goods like cakes, pastries, cookies and they have the MOST WANTED DELICACIES the Macaroons! You placed your order in the cashier counter and they bring your food when it's ready. The dining area is cleaned and very homey ambience, which made me feel at home eating delicious food. I ate breakfast here today with my girlfriend and we love how fresh their ingredients are and their hot dark mocha is so good paired with my breakfast. They cater for breakfast, luncheons and dinners- (Hors d'oeuvres, party platters, buffets, desserts, custom cakes, taco bar, sliders, fajitas, crepes, baked potatoes and salad bar.)After breakfast, I just have to try their popular almond croissant and couple of their macaroons. We first tried the pistachio macaroon, it was crunchy on the outside and cloud 9 in the middle. It was very difficult not to devour these pastries. My 13-year-old son couldn't stop raving about this place, as his grandma has taken him to it many times, so I headed over to check it out.  Met a girlfriend for breakfast--delicious! This place is the real deal. Their breakfast items, salads, bakery goodies, and dinners are top notch.  My husband raves about the lamb chops.  The atmosphere is casual and cozy~ a perfect place to meet a friend for coffee or a meal.  Their smoothies are wonderful as well.Please frequent this place, as we'd like it to stick around.Oh, I also appreciate that they give Kyrene employees 20% off when you show your badge. This place is amazing!  Great breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.  We had the crepes, some of the egg sandwiches, and some of the dinner options as well. ....oh, and we ALWAYS top it off with one of their homemade desserts (we love the macarons), and everything is always delicious. What a hidden gem! Stopped in while shopping in the plaza, where Early Baker is located, and so happy I gave it a try! The food was fabulous; I had the vegan burrito with side salad. This place makes croissants the way I like them. A little crispy outside and scrumptious everywhere else. Totally recommend the vegan breakfast burrito. I know it is vegan, but the tastes are oh so good. If you are vegan try it, if you are not vegan try it!The real reason we are supporters of this place, are the desserts. The german chocolate cake is our favorite, although we have tried just about all the desserts and have never been disappointed.The coffee according to hubby is the best. I got excited when I saw the word croissant on the door. Don't get your hopes up, I told myself. I went in and asked for two croissants. What followed was the best customer service and the best croissants in Phoenix. By a wide margin. The owner asked if I could wait because the ones in the oven were almost done. Walked into early Baker on a whim and what a great choice! We had the Japanese cheesecake which was so light and fluffy with the right amount of sweetness. Adam the owner also provided us with samples to the napoleon and tres leche cake. It was all delicious. All had the perfect amount of sweetness and texture. Adam was great! Provided great service, was very friendly and funny. The perfect atmosphere to end a dinner date with some friends. I will definitely be back to try more items from their menu. We just had the best tacos EVER for dinner at Early Baker!! (They aren't just a breakfast place!) We had ribeye and organic chicken tacos, (they also make egg and potato tacos and on occasion salmon or red snapper too)! They were colorful and flavorful! The owner, Adam, sat with us at our table for a moment and made us feel like family! He brought us a huge piece of the most delicious cake for dessert! We ordered cappuccino's and he offered homemade vanilla, (which was absolutely amazing!) You are also welcome to bring you own beer or a bottle of wine to enjoy with your meal! They have a dog friendly patio, too! It was too hot to bring our pups since we went there around 5pm, so because we had intended on bringing them, Adam made them both something special for us to take home for them! Which they loved!Ahwatukee...there are always posts requesting that restaurants come in to our community. If we don't take a chance and support them, we will lose them. They have listened to the community and responded with vegetarian and vegan options, too. Early Baker also has a private room that you can have a business meeting, baby shower, or any kind of private celebration. If you want alcohol, bring it and allow them to cater it for you! Early Baker (Safeway shopping center 40th St/Chandler Blvd.) chose our community 2 years ago. Adam, (the owner) has been so generous and supportive of our community on so many levels! Dining out a lot and cooking very little, I developed a discerning palate over the years. My motto is, why pay for crappy service and mediocre food when I can serve it at home. All jokes aside, the truth with living in Ahwatukee Foothills becomes a startling disappointment when it comes to dining out until we found this gem of a place on 40th and Chandler Rd.The Rack of Lamb was served over pilaf rice and grilled veggies (optional choice of bowtie pasta for the rice). The Lamb was grilled to perfection, moist and delicious and you can smell the fresh rosemary. No sauce or additional seasoning needed. The Salmon was delightful as well. The generous cut was grilled with the skin and not dry or overcooked. The side salad that went with the entree was seasoned with a light dressing, fresh and delicious. Only thing I would like personally would  to have butter lettuce, baby spinach or even arugula versus iceberg lettuce which has no nutritional value. Last but not least, the French Toast which we requested a half order was a delicious treat. The bread, soft and fluffy served with light syrup and just the right amount of powder sugar to kick off a Sunday.  This place also offers smoothies and illy coffee which I am a fan! Owner was pleasant, welcoming, generous and hilarious! Offered us the "private room" and provided me and my friends free samples of their homemade croissants which were buttery and delicious. Also the sample of the Turkish coffee was a nice touch...and will keep me up at night . The Nutella Banana crepe, the French toast, and the Quesadilla were yummy!  The lamb was good but I'd probably get a breakfast dish next time . The portion size of the the pesto pasta and turkey pesto panini was large. Came here for the first time today... SO GOOD!Husband had the baked egg boat with over easy eggs and he loved it. I had the rice pilaf bake and I've never had anything like it before, but it was DELICIOUS! Our 3 year old had a peanut butter crepe and devoured it. Food did take a bit to come out, but after our first bite we didn't even mind! Husband also tried a spiced Turkish coffee for the first time and he also really enjoyed it. 10/10 will be back!! Was searching Yelp for something to eat and wow were we glad we saw this place.  The food was delicious (breakfast served all day - had the veggie frittata) and the service devine.  The owner, Adam, brought us extras... homemade cheese pita to try.  We gobbled that up.  Our meals were tasty and we had eyed the homemade desserts.  On Adam's suggestion we decided to share the German chocolate cake.  He brought us a HUGE "sharing piece" and fed us each a bite while cracking jokes and entertaining our marriage proposals   But seriously the best host and the most delicious food and Turkish coffee too!  A must stop!  We will definitely be back!!
