We hired Dave to provide us a photobooth for our wedding. From our first meeting at a bridal show, until the end of the wedding he was outstanding! We had plenty of props for all of our guests to use, and the print time was AMAZING. Everyone raved on and on about how amazing it was to have a photobooth at our wedding, and the price was certainly right also! Dave himself was always quick to answer any question I had, and he offered us a bunch of different templates to use for our special day. Dave and Justin were amazing! Despite all my planning things were in chaos on the morning of my wedding. Dave and Justin showed up early, assured me all would be taken care of not to worry on my part, made sure we have music in every location we needed, completed all our musical requests, had our dance floor packed all night, took care of us (the bride and groom) personally. ..made sure we ate, had drinks, where were we needed to be, etc. In short, Dave and Justin where just amazing! DJ Dv8 was fantastic! He kept everyone on the dance floor, did a great job MCing the event (with his assistant Justin), played a great mix of music for all ages, was very professional, made sure to play our requested songs, was flexible with scheduling, was a great value in our budget, did sound for the ceremony including microphones, there were no technical issues, great sound quality--my husband and I could go on and on! It was also a huge relief to have all the sound and music taken care of so well after having to plan the whole wedding from across the country. Where do I even start? I'll start by saying picking a DJ was by far the scariest decision for us. We are both so into music, we were nervous about the possibility of making the wrong choice. David and his team were amazing on our wedding day. First, from the day we met through the big day he was very helpful with the selection of songs we needed for the event and very informative about how the event should go as far as music goes. We didn't have many options in mind and he provided lists of songs to choose from for first dance, tossing the garther, etc. Second, they arrived on time to set everything up and were prepared by the time everything started. We got the photo booth from them and everybody had such a good time taking pics in it with the props. Third, the dance floor was always, and I mean always, crowded with people having fun and dancing. Dave and his MC Justin were awesome walked us through the entire process start to finish! They made sure we were taken care of in every way they got everyone dancing. So much to say in so little amount of words! DV8 made my night one every little girl dreams of for her wedding! We spoke the first time 18 months prior to my wedding and loved his attitude and excitement towards DJ'ing and making someones night so perfect. Whatever I wanted he did it! DV8 was the first and last DJ We spoke with! When my wedding became closer and closer he kept in touch every question I had he answered in a timely and quick fashion. Tuesday came the week of my wedding my last day of work and I had received horrible news on my ring that it came in and was wrong. I had then received a call to check up on me from my DV8 just to confirm and follow up and literally cried almost my entire call. I felt horrible. I had mentioned the monogram on the floor and was so overwhelmed I forgot to mention it to DV8. They tried all they could to get it but with my wedding so close it was impossible. My wedding day came and all my vendors came and found my self and husband before the reception started and asked us to enter the ballroom of our wedding they closed our eye and walked us in opening my eyes I was amazed an AMAZING set up done by the DJ I looked down and there was the monogram. DV8 pulled it out and got it! Beautiful I was so over whelmed I cried! My day was amazing perfect then the wedding started and dancing began. DV8 made sure we had great music and people danced all night. We even danced through dinner at one point! All of the traditions were made perfect. The selection for each part of my wedding was unforgettable. After my wedding people asked for his name and contact information they were so amazing. I feared having the DJ that did not have music or did not have the energy and enthusiasm and my wedding would be horrible but I knew this was going to be great. We were lucky enough to have Dv8 Entertainment be the DJ for our wedding! I cannot say enough good things about this company and the amazing job they do. Their set up looked awesome and fit flawlessly with our venue. We had guests come up to us all night and in the days that followed to rave about our DJ. Our older guests loved that the music was low enough during dinner to talk but the dance floor was packed and everyone was dancing when the party got started. DJ Dave Thacker was absolutely amazing and helped make our wedding day truly special and unique. My husband and I decided on a theme for Lord of the Rings meets Star Wars. Not only did Dave come with a fantastic music selection for the cocktail hour that combined the two genres, he substituted party favorite "YMCA" song with the Star Wars "Empire Today." He even took the time to create an amazing show that took iconic scenes from both sagas and played that during the wedding. Dave was great for my party. Every song I requested was played and everyone loved the music.
