The Duo is the number One Japanese restaurant in upstate New York. The food is always extremely fresh and delicious. The staff is always greets you with a friendly smile. We love to go there to have cocktails, appetizers and dinner. Ever since we discovered the Duo, it's the only restaurant that we eat at. We have met so many friendly people there. My Wife and I went there for our 24th Anniversary. Figured we would try something different. I must say everything was excellent! ! We were there on a Tuesday and it was just about full. Got service, drinks and food very quick. The waitress( name escapes me) was awesome and even took time to teach us how to use chopsticks. Despite her efforts we need to practice a lot more. Went for Valentine's Day with the hubby, it was his first hibachi experience. We had a blast, and he said it was one of the best and most fun didning experiences we have ever had together. They even gave all of the ladies at the hibachi table a rose at the end of our meal! Back entrance could use some updating, but you'd never have seen it if you entered from the front. I was there for NYE and a couple days after that it was very busy New Year’s Eve. We had a reservation for around 6:45 although it took some time to get seat since there was a lot of people there we had an amazing time. While seated we watched customers yell at the hostess for not being sat right away. She handled it with ease and apologized to everyone and did the best she could.
