I’m thoroughly unimpressed with every aspect of this business. I came back Friday the 25th and my dog was completely not himself.
His energy was extremely low! He was extremely lethargic and definitely underweight. Come to find out he had ticks on him on Thursday that were big enough for them to detach by the time I saw him on Friday. On Saturday night I found 4 more on his ears. I also found sore spots and scabs on his back legs and rump.
When the owner read the previous review I got an extremely unprofessional reply back (screenshot with pictures)
I am almost at a loss for words with my dogs condition. This morning I took him to the vet and got some medication for him. Thankfully in the 3 days I had to bulk him up, he was back to the same weight as when I left 2 weeks ago. I gave him exactly what I asked them to feed while I was gone with a couple extra milk one treats. Within those three days his energy is back up to about 80% of his normal springy self.
Honestly what I say might not matter but I hope pictures with convince you to NEVER leave you dog at this facility.

DCDA has done an amazing job on training one of my prior SDs to be molded better for his new handler in NM. They were looking for a larger, fully trained, fully grown and health tested dog for a client down there. Since I didn't need such a large dog for mobility (I use my RX aids more), I offered for them to have him.
