I met Carol Adolph of Duende Designs, Inc., over two years ago when I purchased a second home in Palm Desert, California. She was introduced to me by the realtor who sold me the home .

For over two years Carol and I have worked together, with Carol's leadership overseeing all of the projects involved. These projects included an entire interior renovation of the home, with new floors, countertops, fireplace, area rugs, lighting, painting, draperies, etc., as well as outdoor work. In addition to the interior renovations, I also purchased all new furniture both inside and outside from her.

When I first started the remodeling project, I did not know to what extent I would redo the home. I am glad that I have done everything! Carol and I worked together long distance, as I do not live in the Palm Desert home full time. Carol was always on top of all of the projects that were taking place at the time, and her communication with me throughout the entire job was always punctual and professional. In fact, Carol is still involved with projects taking place right now.

Carol's taste is impeccable, and she listens to the client's likes and dislikes so professionally. I cannot tell you the number of people who have come into this home and given glowing opinions of the interior and overall design. That is a tribute to Carol's great taste!!

Carol is a delight to work with!

She is professional, proficient and OUTSTANDING at what she does!

Also, despite being 3 time zones away (2nd home) and 2,500 miles apart, Carol makes working with her effortless, and is often on the job site keeping the builder on task as our eyes and ears on the job.

We have used many decorators over the years, but have found Carol to be an absolute gem and unlike others, she works with your budget to give you the biggest "bang for your buck".

We could not recommend anyone higher than Carol to decorate your home!

Our new vacation home in La Quinta, Ca. needed to be interior designed and decorated.

We met Carol at a neighborhood tour of remodeled homes. We liked what we saw at the home she had remodeled and our adventure began. Carol took the framework of our ideas and expanded and helped us modify them to achieve the home-away -from-home we wanted. She heard what we said and helped us clarify our thoughts and ideas. Since we would not be present for a lot of the work Carol was there to make sure the project stayed on track. Not only were we pleased to have a talented designer but also someone who was able to work with all the subcontractors to assure that we got the results we desired. We uses many of her recommended subcontractors whom we had individual contracts with. Their professionalism and commitment to quality workmanship gave us a home that we love.

I found Carol Adolph of Duende Design on Houzz. I am new to the area and needed assistance furnishing an entire house. I needed someone with experience, confidence, and the ability to take control of the project, while still considering our design style and our budget. She assured me that she possessed all of these skills, and proved herself every day over the 6 or more months that we worked together. She respected our opinions, yet prevented us from going awry, when necessary.

Carol was very professional and always followed through on what she promised us. We relied on her to coordinate with all of the contractors. She would bring samples to us so we didn't have to spend our time shopping. Once our initial large project was completed, she assisted us in smaller projects so we could continue the flow throughout the house and onto the patio.
